At three quarters of the pool, Ri In stopped. She couldn’t hold it anymore. She had a cramp and because of having an operation on her leg once, it was easy to be hurt. Sungmin stopped in his tracks and there was silence from the team of cheering. Everyone was concerned. Sungmin, who was the closest, swam to Ri In to see if she was alright. She was flagging her arm up and down, calling for help.

“Are you alright, Ri In-shii?” called out Sungmin, still quite far away.

“Cramp,” gasped Ri In inaudibly and her head bobbed down back into the water again. Sungmin swam faster, wrapped his arm around Ri In’s neck and swam to the edge. The others helped haul her up.

Ri In was still lost in her world, oblivious of the surrounding. In her world, she was still underwater.

“Remember me, Zhang Li Yin?” a voice rang out. Ri In’s eyes shot open.

“Kill him, Zhang Li Yin, kill him. That’s what you were sent here for. Kill Kim Junsu.” And the voice disappeared.

“Ri In-shii!” called out Sunny helplessly as she saw Ri In open her eyes.

“What happened?” Ri In groaned.

“You nearly lost your life there at the swimming pool! We had to bring you to the hospital!”

“Oh, where is everyone?”

“We’re here!” they all entered. Ri In slightly smiled. She tried to sit up but Jae Joong stopped her.

“No, Li Yin, rest,” Jae Joong convinced. Ri In let her body slump against the bed again.

“Sorry for causing trouble for everyone,” Ri In apologised.

“Ri In, my daughter! Are you feeling well?” exclaimed Mrs. Kim as she came in through the room’s door.

“Omma, I’m alright,” Ri In replied.

“You have to rest, okay? Thank you all for taking care of my daughter,” thanked Mrs. Kim.

“It’s okay, Mrs. Kim,” they all said at once and bowed.

“Oh, how’s my daughter going?” asked Mr. Kim as he entered.

“Oh, Appa, I’m fine,” Ri In answered.

“That’s good. I have to go outside for a call. I’ll be back, okay?” Mr. Kim asked for permission.

“I’ll be going too,” Mrs. Kim said.

“Okay, Appa and Omma.” Mr. and Mrs. Kim left to make their phone call.

“Remember to rest well, Ri In-shii,” Kyuhyun said.

“I will,” assured Ri In.

“We brought video games for you,” Kyuhyun informed.

“Mainly, he brought it for himself,” whispered Yesung to Ri In. Kyuhyun heard anyway.

“Yah!” Kyuhyun shouted. Ri In giggled. Kyuhyun chased Yesung until a nurse came in and told them to stop. Everyone burst out laughing. They all had fun there.

“But I’m getting discharged today.” Ri In told them.

“You are?” asked Kyuhyun.

“An idiot like you is the only one that doesn’t know,” commented Yesung.

“Hey!”

Kyuhyun started chasing Yesung again.

At Mr. and Mrs. Kim’s side, they were talking on the phone.

“What do we do with the plan, Han Geng? Ri In got sent to the hospital,” asked Mr. Kim.

“How bad is the injury?” panicked the person on the other line, namely Han Geng.

“She got a cramp and fainted. She is now resting and will be able to come home today,” informed Mr. Kim. Hen Geng smirked.

“Everything is going as planned and with a little extra. Don’t worry, it’ll be fine. Tomorrow is the plan, araso?” The frown on Mr and Mrs Kim’s faces burrowed deeper.

“But you said two days later was the plan,” stated Mr Kim.

“It is. But I am just advancing in the plan one big step tomorrow. Anyway, tonight, someone will come and kidnap Ri In while you are discharging her. Don’t worry, I sent them. Just act like as if nothing happened. Junsu will receive a phone call in the morning, telling him instructions. Don’t stop him wherever he is going. Everything is under my plan,” instructed Han Geng.

“Okay, I’ve got it,” Mr Kim said.

“Remember to tell Junho too, just in case he freaks and tells the police,” reminded Han Geng. Mr Kim chuckled.

“Good idea.”

“Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Sure, bye Han Geng.” And Mr Kim turned off his phone.

“Will the plan continue?” asked Mrs Kim.

“Yep, he said that he sent someone to kidnap Ri In when we discharge her out of the hospital tonight. He said that we needn’t to panic when that happens,” explained Mr Kim.

“Okay, we should go back to Ri In right now,” Mrs Kim said. They both walked and were just outside Ri In’s ward.

“What’s the next activity tomorrow?” Ri In’s voice travelled through the whole hall way.

“We cancelled it,” Sunny informed Ri In.

“Why? It was fun,” whinged Ri In.

“It was my decision, Ri In.” Mr Kim entered.

“Oh Appa, is it yours really?” Ri In confirmed.

“I cancelled because I did not want to see you sick and still playing all those sports.”

“Oh, I see.” Suddenly, someone’s phone rang. It was Jae Joong’s.

“Excuse me,” whispered Jae Joong and left with Changmin.

“Everybody, it’s late. You all should go home now,” Mr Kim excused them. Everyone said bye to Ri In and left one by one. Now, it was only Ri In, Mr and Mrs Kim.

“Let’s get you discharged,” announced Mrs Kim.

“Okay.”

Soon, they were standing at the entrance of Seoul Hospital. Ri In was standing in the middle, shivering in the cold. Mr Kim looked around for any signs of suspicious people. Finally, he saw a white van backing up.

“Appa, where’s the car?” Ri In asked while chattering her teeth. She was freezing.

“It’s coming,” soothed Mr Kim. The white van stopped in front of them and the door burst open. Two people in masks came out and grabbed Ri In by the shoulder.

“What are you guys doing?!” Ri In struggled, bewilderment written across her face.

“Let her go!” Mr and Mrs Kim faked cried. They tackled Ri In to the van. She kicked her legs and was about to kick the guy in the groan when the other guy put a cloth around and she collapsed in the guy’s arm.

“It’s hard work for you guys,” Mr Kim said.

“It’s all okay, Mr Kim.” And they left with Ri In.

“Hey, do you think doing this is right?” questioned Mrs Kim with uncertainty.

“It’s all for our son’s happiness,” reasoned Mr Kim.

“You’re right,” agreed Mrs Kim and they left with their chauffeur.

“Alright, we’ll do as instructed, Han Geng,” Jae Joong said over the phone.

“Good, but do you have any doubts on me?” questioned Han Geng.

“No, why?” interjected Jae Joong.

“You know I used to try and separate Ri In from Junsu.”

“But I trust you. I see it in your eyes. You only want to protect Ri In and bring her happiness. I know you have good intentions,” Jae Joong explained.

“It’s good that you trust me but will Changmin, Yoochun and Yunho cooperate with me?”

“Sure, they will. I’ve explained to them and they have agreed.”

“Oh, thank you so much, Jae Joong.” Han Geng was grateful. Without their help, the plan wouldn’t go on as smoothly.

“It’s our honour.”

“Well, it’s late. I should advance in the plan. Bye,” bided Han Geng.

“Bye.” And Jae Joong turned off the phone.

“Honey, remind me why we are sitting and waiting for Junho,” Mrs Kim sighed.

“We need to tell him the just in case he hyperventilate,” reminded Mr Kim.

“Why can’t we just tell him now?” whined Mrs Kim. She was getting sleep deprived.

“You know our son. He must have no one to disturb him while he is doing his work. You know how angry he gets.” Mr and Mrs Kim both sighed as they continued to wait.

A few hours later, Junho exited from his office.

“Appa, Omma,” shook Junho as Mr and Mrs Kim were both asleep.

“Oh, Junho,” acknowledged Mr Kim.

“Appa, what do you need from me?” asked Junho. Mr Kim shook himself awake to answer his son’s question.

“Han Geng said the plan is unfolding tomorrow and told me to tell you just in case you would ring the police,” informed Mr Kim.

“He sure knows me.”

“That’s the price of a genius,” said Mr Kim.

“Appa, why didn’t you just call me? You didn’t have to wait here for hours just to tell me a couple of sentences,” fussed Junho.

“I know you don’t want to be disturbed during work hours so we waited for you.”

“Should we wake Omma?” suggested Junho.

“No, let her sleep. Can you carry her, Junho?” asked Mr Kim.

“Sure,” answered Junho and he picked his mother up on his back and walked with his Appa to the car.

“Guys, you know the plan, right?” Jae Joong asked Yoochun, Yunho and Changmin.

“They do but I don’t,” replied Yoochun.

“How come you don’t know?” Jae Joong questioned in disbelief.

“How am I supposed to know?” Yoochun asked back.

“I told Yunho to tell you,” answered Jae Joong.

“But he didn’t tell me.” They both looked at each other then to Yunho with furious faces.

“I-I can explain.”

“Yunho!” yelled the two adults and chased him around. After a couple of rounds, Yoochun was puffed out but Jae Joong still had loads of energy in him. Yoochun sat opposite of Changmin, breathing hardly.

“Need me to tell you the plan?” asked Changmin.

“Please.”

“Okay, first of all, Han Geng will kidnap Ri In.” Yoochun gasped.

“What are you guys doing? Why are you letting Han Geng kidnap Ri In? Who knows what he will do with her!” interrupted Yoochun.

“Could you not interrupt me and listen to the whole plan?” grumbled Changmin.

“Oh, sorry,” apologised Yoochun.

“Thank you. Now, where was I up to?”

“The part where you asked me if I could not interrupt you and let you continue on with the plan,” answered Yoochun.

“Yoochun!”

“What?”

“Never mind. Anyway, the plan is kind of like the hero rescuing the beauty. All we need to do is come in when Han Geng signals us and fake to fight the people that are trying to harm Ri In and Junsu,” explained Changmin.

“Oh, I finally get it. Is it that simple?” asked Yoochun.

“What do you expect?” Changmin questioned.

“Oh, a little more fighting here and there. A little kicking, punching,” mumbled Yoochun. Deciding to ignore his comment, Changmin continued on.

“The plan is tomorrow.”

“What? That fast?”

“Yeah, so get ready now,” replied Changmin. With Changmin already explaining the plan to Yoochun, Jae Joong was still chasing Yunho. Changmin shook his head at the two adults.
