“First question! This question is about The World Cup. What is the highest rank that Korea Republic got in The World Cup?” asked Dong Yup.

Everyone pondered, thoughts away.

“Is anyone going to answer?” asked Dong Yup jokingly.

“Ri In-shii should know this. She likes soccer,” Zhou Mi said and everyone nodded.

“Um…I don’t know,” Ri In admitted.

“Well, is there anyone else going to answer?” Dong Yup asked. Everyone kept silent.

“This is not going to work. Everyone, get in line!” ordered Dong Yup. Everyone hurriedly shuffled into a line. Standing in front was Henry.

“Introduce yourself first. I don’t know who you are,” Dong Yup mumbled at the end.

“Oh, I’m Henry, Henry Lau,” Henry introduced himself.

“OK, good. Now, the previous question; what was Korea’s highest rank in The World Cup?” Dong Yup asked again, reading from the placard from his hand.

“Um…fifth rank?” Henry guessed, not quite sure of the answer.

“Incorrect!” said Dong Yup. Disappointed Henry walked to his right side, the Babo team.

“The highest rank that Korea got in The World Cup is fourth place,” said Dong Yup.

“Oh,” everyone chorused and nodded their head.

“Next up is…” Dong Yup stopped with a questioning face. Everyone laughed.

“Sungmin, Lee Sungmin,” Sungmin completed.

“Ah, yes, Sungmin. Your question is; what is the highest mountain in Korea?” read Dong Yup.

“Oh, oh, I know this!” Sungmin said.

“Then answer,” Dong Yup said.

“But I forgot what it’s called,” Sungmin pouted. Everyone laughed at the kid’s hyper activeness for nothing.

“Please go to the Babo team,” Dong Yup invited. Everyone, once again, laughed.

“Aniyo, I can remember. Just give me some time,” Sungmin pleaded and closed his eyes. Everyone waited, anticipating for the answer.

“Oh, I got it!” Sungmin exclaimed and clicked his fingers together. He shocked everyone with his sudden outburst.

“It’s Mt. Baekdu!” said Sungmin.

“Correct!” shouted Dong Yup.

“Yes!” cheered Sungmin and moved to his left, where the Daebak team is. Everyone opened their mouths wide. Next person was Ri In.

“What is the longest river in South Korea?” Dong Yup asked. Sounds of laughter could be heard because of Dong Yup skipping the part where he asks their name.

“Is it the Yangtze River?” Ri In asked, unsure of herself.

“You sure?” asked Dong Yup unbelievingly and everyone broke into fits of laughter. After calming down, Dong Yup asked again.

“Are you one hundred per cent sure?” asked Dong Yup.

“Neh,” said Ri In.

“That’s the biggest river in China! The biggest river in Korea is the Nakdong River,” Shin Dong said and everyone started laughing again while Ri In walked to the Babo team, feeling silly.

After fifteen more minutes, the teams were determined.

“OK, everyone, the team members of Babo Team consists of Jang Ri In, Lee Sunny, Kim Jae Joong, Shim Changmin, Lee Donghae, Lee Eunhyuk, Kim Heechul and Henry Lau. And the Daebak Team consist of Kim Yesung, Kim Ryeowook, Lee Sungmin, Zhou Mi, Cho Kyuhyun, Kim Kangin and Park Eeteuk,” Dong Yup announced.

“Wait, don’t they have two more people than us?” asked Eeteuk.

“Oh yeah, they do,” agreed Kangin.

“You sure?” asked Dong Yup.

“Yeah, I am sure,” Eeteuk said. Dong Yup turned around and counted the members on the right side and the left.

“You’re right. We only need to bring one person from the Babo Team to the Daebak Team and we can have it equal. And because of that, we will have a Revival Knowledge test!” shouted Dong Yup. Everyone cheered to bring up the atmosphere.

“What is the Revival Knowledge test?” asked Kyuhyun.

“I was getting to that,” Dong Yup said and pretended to put a grumpy face. That brought laughter to everyone.

“Okay, before I was interrupted,” Dong Yup purposely looked at Kyuhyun and he made an innocent face, “the Revival Knowledge test is really easy. All you need to do is say ‘I love you’ is as many languages as you can. The person who says the most will be able to go into the Daebak team and avoid washing the dishes,” Dong Yup explained.

“Then, won’t people steal from others?” asked Ryeowook.

“Don’t worry, little kid. While someone says ‘I love you’, the other members are required to wear special ear phones that stop them from hearing anything,” Dong Yup said. Laughter was head when Dong Yup said ‘little kid’ to Ryeowook. Ryeowook pouted a cute pout.

“Ear phones please!” called out Dong Yup. The staff came and gave him eight ear phones.

“Okay, everyone, wear them on,” Dong Yup instructed and handed them out. Everyone had the same thought that Ri In was going to win. She is Chinese and knows Korean.

“Let the first person be: Jang Ri In!” Ri In smiled and stepped forward.

“There is: wo ai ni, saranghayo and I love you,” Ri In said in Mandarin, Korean and English. Everyone on Daebak team clapped.

“Who wants to be next?” asked Dong Yup. Henry took off his ear phones and handed them to Ri In. She wore them on securely.

“I will,” Henry volunteered. Zhou Mi, his Chinese friend, knows that Henry will win. Henry knows quite a lot.

“Okay, there is: wo ai ni, ngo oi nai, saranghayo, I love you, wa ai li and aieru,” Henry said all in one breath. The Daebak Team had their mouth hanging open.

“Are you sure those are words?” asked Dong Yup. He was surprised too.

“Yes, I’m a hundred per cent sure,” confirmed Henry. Dong Yup whispered something to the staff.

“Okay, it is confirmed that all those words are real! Who dares to challenge right now?” asked Dong Yup.

“Babo team has ear phones, how can they hear you?” Eeteuk asked.

“Oh yeah, you’ve got a point,” Dong Yup said and manually removed their ear phones.

“Dong Yup-shii wanted to ask whether there is anyone that wants to beat Henry’s record of six words,” Kangin asked them. Everyone was silent.

“Then it’s decided! Henry shall go to the Daebak team!” announced Dong Yup. Everyone clapped him on and the Daebak team did a brotherly hug to welcome him to their team.

“As for the Babo team,” continued Dong Yup, “they will be washing the dishes tonight.” Groans could be heard from the Babo team. The Babo team, sulking, slumped their shoulders.

“Alright, everyone, since it is quite late, we will get into the activities now. This is the second activity we have today and the last one will be held later on,” Dong Yup told them.

“What’s the next activity then?” asked Ri In.

“The next activity shall be: cooking!” announced Dong Yup. Everyone clapped.

“Let me explain the rules; in your teams, you go to two different kitchens and get prepared. The two kitchens’ are opposite with each other, with a door to and a huge yard to separate one another. A whistle will be blown and three nominees from each team will have to rush out and grab the ingredient that they need. One can only carry an ingredient at a time. You have three minutes to collect all the things you need. If you violate the rule of collecting one thing at a time, you have a thirty second penalty. The meal must be cooked within thirty minutes and must be presentable. The judges are me and you, since we will all be eating this later on. The losing team must collect hot water tomorrow morning for the other team to brush their teeth. The water can be collected there,” Dong Yup pointed to a house quite far away from where they were standing. It should be at least a kilometre away.

“Wow,” everyone gasped.

“Why does this sound like a camp more than a holiday?” questioned Changmin.

“It was because Mr. Kim organised it to be like this,” explained Dong Yup.

“Oh, I see,” mumbled Changmin.

“Okay, let’s get going,” Dong Yup said and led the way.

Soon enough, they had arrived at the kitchen. The Daebak team was standing on the right and the Babo team was standing on the left with Dong Yup in the middle.

“Please choose three nominees to represent your team,” Dong Yup asked. Both team made a huddle and decided.

“Okay, which team decided first?” asked Dong Yup.

“Us!” volunteered Ri In.

“Okay, who did you choose?” inquired Dong Yup.

“We chose Donghae, Eunhyuk and Sunny,” Ri In announced.

“Oh, the three Lees’,” nodded Dong Yup. Everyone just realised that them both were surnamed Lee. What a quick witted Dong Yup.

“Okay, how about the Daebak team?” Dong Yup changed his direction.

“We have chosen Yesung, Henry and Zhou Mi,” announced Kangin. The Daebak and Babo team clapped.

“Hey, why didn’t anyone clap for us?” complained Eunhyuk. The Daebak team laughed.

“Right, we shall start! Everyone, take your position!” declared Dong Yup. Everyone except the chosen nominees wet back to the kitchen. The nominees all positioned themselves behind the line that was taped.

“Once the whistle blows, you may start,” reminded Dong Yup. They all nodded.

The whistle got some of them off guard. They all scrambled as fast as they possible could to the table with food laid in front of them. The Babo team rushed back and forth while the already organised Daebak team made a line from the table to the kitchen. They were lined from left to right: Yesung, Zhou Mi and Henry. Yesung started grabbing an item and throwing it to Zhou Mi and Zhou Mi threw it to Henry while Henry passed them to his team. In one minute and thirty seconds, Daebak team had already transported thirty objects while Babo team had half of that. Seeing that Daebak team was doing well with their strategy, Babo team decided to copy them. By two minutes, the two teams’ were even. Sunny, rushing, accidently heaved two items into her hands and threw them to Donghae, barely noticeable.

“Wait, wait! Sunny is cheating! I saw her hold two things at the same time!” pointed out Kangin. Everyone kept going but Kangin kept complaining.

“Alright, stop!” Dong Yup yelled and everyone froze in their spots.

“Sunny, did you hold two things at the same time?” asked Dong Yup.

“I don’t know,” replied Sunny.

“Fortunately, we have taped everything so we will be able to see. Please bring the video and the TV out!” said Dong Yup. In a couple of seconds, the staff had brought out the video and the TV. Heechul inserted the tape and the film started playing. They skipped to the part where Kangin say Sunny handle two things at the same time. It was confirmed that Sunny had held two things up the same time.

“Yes!” the Daebak team pumped their fist into the air and cheered.

“We shall continue it now! Daebak team has got advantage of thirty seconds. Will they make it?” Dong Yup said. Yesung, Zhou Mi and Henry got into position and in a matter of seconds; they had surpassed Babo team’s score.

“Yay!” cheered Daebak team once again.

“Wait, this isn’t the end yet. You must cook a meal with the food provided. Everyone, come out here. I will blow the whistle so all of you can start,” Dong Yup reminded.

“We’ll definitely win, we have Jae Joong on our team,” whispered Changmin to his team. Over hearing, Kangin decided to boast.

“Don’t worry guys, we have Sungmin here. He can definitely cook and he might be better than some people on the other team. Besides, we don’t have people that handle two things at a time on our team. If not, the person might try and multi task, and the result? Brunt kitchen.” Daebak team stifled their laughter.

There went the whistle again without warning. Both teams scrambled to their kitchen. All helped each other tie aprons and started.

In half an hour, both teams were ready.

“Okay, we’re going to eat this as dinner so I want you guys to go wash your hands and then come back here.” All of them left to wash their hands. As they returned, they saw Ding Yup scooping up some food and putting it in a little bowl.

“Dong Yup-shii, what are you doing?” Kangin asked him suspiciously. Dong Yup froze, not thinking that they would come back so fast.

“I-I was putting some food into the bowl so they judges could try them,” lied Dong Yup. Everyone seemed a little convinced.

“Okay, let’s eat!” announced Changmin and dug in. Everyone followed suit. Once everyone had finished eating their dinner, Dong Yup told them to go into the yard. They followed.

“What are we doing here?” questioned Eunhyuk.

“I kind of lied to you guys. The dog will choose the tastiest food to eat and that team will be considered the winner,” explained Doing Yup sheepishly.

“That’s unfair!” argued Donghae.

“Yah! I’ve done this far enough! What do you expect?” barked Dong Yup to Donghae playfully.

“Sorry,” apologised Donghae. Dong Yup placed two bowls of food on the floor for the dogs. Everyone backed away to let them have space.

“Come on! Come on!” everyone encouraged. The dog sniffed Babo teams bowl. It circled around it and proceeded to Daebak team’s food. It sniffed a couple of times and dug its head into it, consuming it scrumptiously.

“Yes!” Daebak team, once again, had won over Babo team.

“That’s unfair! What did you put in there!?” asked Jae Joong.

“Yeah, what did you put in there? The dog seems to be enjoying it very much,” Dong Yup agreed.

“Let our Head Chef answer,” Kangin said and pointed to Sungmin.
