So many things and so many people are precious to us, yet sometimes we overlook these things and these people, without even realising it.

Thus, through this writing contest, I hope to deliver this message :

Cherish all that/who are precious to you, for you never miss the water till the well runs dry.

Foreword

the basics

-> please subscribe to this thread once you have decided to enter, & please, no backing out!

-> I trust all of you are nice people, so no bashing, yes?

-> Deadline is the 18th June, 23:59 Singapore time

the entries

what you have to do, very simply, is write a story based on theme precious, and use any of these prompts [ maximum 1 ] as inspiration

1) All you need is twenty seconds of insane courage, and I promise you, something great will happen -- We Bought A Zoo

2) You will never miss the water till the well turns dry 

3) How terrible it is to love something, or someone, that death can touch

-> mutiple entries are allowed, but you can only win once

-> entries should be completely original; the story submitted should not have been in circulation anywhere else, even on aff, as of 22/2/2012

--> no more than ten chapters

-> no co-authors allowed

-> please place the link to this thread in your story

-> please place the prompt in the foreword

-> I will accept stories of any genre, except for horror, for the simple fact that I will freak myself out. 

-> yaoi & yuri is accepted

-> I would prefer if you kept rated scenes to a minimum.

-> all groups are allowed, as well as OC's.

How to submit?

Post the link of your story as a comment, and at the end add, I love bananas!, just so I know you read this section! 8D

How will I be judged?

Entries will be judged based on originality & creativity, but I have no strict rubric 8D

What are the prizes?

I have not decided on the prizes yet, but I hope that if you take part, you do so not because of the prizes.
