Myungsoo POV

I saw her again. After a few years, I saw her again. “ Myungsoo-ah “ she called out my name. She smile at me. I smile back. It’s happy that I get to see her again. But it feels awkward too. “ Naeun-ah, what are you doing here ? “ I asked her. “ Oh I came for check up “ she said. “ Check up ? What check up ? “ I ask her. “ Hmm let’s sit first “ she said.

We walk to the café together and have  a chat. “ So, what check up are you doing ? “ I ask her, expecting for an answer. “ My leg “ she shows me her leg. “ What’s wrong with your leg ? “ I ask her again, wanting to know. “ I don’t dance ballet anymore “

I’m so shocked with her statement. “ WHAT ?!! “ I shouted, shocked. “ Yeah, I got into an accident and this is what happen “ she said, smiling. She might be smiling, but I know deep in her heart, she’s hurt. “ So, what are you doing now ? “ I ask her, concern. “ I just stayed at home, doing nothing. There’s nothing I can do now “ she said. She sounds sad. I feel  so hurt.

I don’t know why I feel that kind of feeling but I think maybe because I used to be with her before. I used to feel her pain. Maybe that’s why I feel hurt right now. “ Naeun-ah “ I hold her hand. I smile at her. “ Don’t lose hope “ I said to her. “ Maybe you can’t dance anymore, but there must be something that you can do. I know you’re a strong girl. Go on with your life. You used to achieved your dream before, why not now ? Create a new dream and go for it. Don’t worry. I’ll be supporting you “

Naeun smile and immediately hug me. I’m so shocked. But I hug her back. “ Promise me. You will achieve your dream in the future “ I told her. I can feel her nodding. We broke the hug. “ I promise you I will achieve my dream. Thank you for giving me hope Myungsoo-ah “ Naeun said. I smile and nods. We have a chat for a while before she ask, “ Oh what are you doing here ? “

“ I.. oh I was just visiting my friend “ I lied. Actually, I am still not ready to tell Naeun about Jiyeon. Maybe because I just met her. “ Oh really ? Okay.. “ Naeun smile. She look at the watch on her wrist. “ Hmm Myungsoo-ah, I have to go now.” She look something in her bag and gave it to me. “ This is my number. Call me when you’re free okay ? “ I smile and nods.

She waves at me before leaving. I waves back. I save her number in my phone. I’m going to call her tonight to make sure she didn’t do anything stupid. I don’t know why, but I feel so happy to meet her again.
