“Urgh!” You frowned as walked down the street, “This dress is the most uncomfortable thing ever. If this guy barely gets any girls, then I’m pretty sure that by wearing casual clothing, I can catch him.”

“Well he booked a fancy restaurant so obviously he has money right.”

“Yeah, well when you live with your mum and scam his girlfriend out of her own hard earned money; it’s pretty obvious you’d be rolling in money.”

“Just distract him and chase him outside so I can catch him.”

“I can’t believe you put 27 years old on the profile. Seriously, I can’t even look 20 and you put 27.”

“Well, crooks believe that it’s easier to trick older women.”

“Okay, but seriously, why is this dress so long? It’s literally sweeping the street.”

“That’s why you’re wearing heels. How was I supposed to know your height?”

“I’m only 167cm.”

“I’m sorry; that’s why I bought you flats to wear on your way to the restaurant.”

You let out a sigh and grabbed the bottom of the dress and pulled it up a bit, “Let’s get this guy.”

I sat at the table as I waited for the guy to come. I was so close to falling asleep because it was way past my bed time.

“Kim Miyeon?”

I looked up and saw a guy grinning at me. I stood up and bowed, “Neh, and you must be Hong Cheol Man.”

“Please, sit down.”

“Neh.”

The guy was actually good looking and he definitely had the charismatic look. I guess he decided to try online dating because he thinks all girls who go on it will be easy to trick; being so desperate that they try online dating.

“So tell me Kim Miyeon-sshi, how old are you exactly because you look too young to be 27. You look like you’re still in high school.”

That’s because I am… I have to say, this person is one heck of a smooth talker but I’m a person who chooses money over looks. I know I am so superficial but come on; money is unfortunately everything in the 21^st century.

“So Miyeon, why don’t you tell me about yourself, where do you work?”

I smiled, “I work at the national bank. You know, long hours, no social life whatsoever.”

I laughed as I looked into his eyes, his greedy scheming eyes. It’s so obvious that I’ve got him hook, bait and sinker.

“So tell me Hong Cheol Man-sshi, what’s a good looking man like you doing on a dating website? You can probably go out and get any girl you want.”

“What about you? You could do the same.”

Time to make advances toward him, what would a 27 year old woman do? I put my hand over his and smiled gently.

“So… what are you looking for in this relationship? I mean, long term or short term?”

The guy smirked and looked up at me, “Long term of course, I wouldn’t go through all that trouble for nothing.”

What a fake… I should really be used to all this but every time, it mind blows me that these people lie so easily. I have to tell myself every night that what I’m doing is good but them… wah… Screw it, I’m going to just attack.

“I see, so what would you call a long term relationship?” I asked, “2 months? Or maybe I should ask you, what ends a relationship?”

“What?”

“So tell me, what did your last girlfriend think of you when you took her money?”

“Huh?”

The uncomfortable look on his funny was hilarious.

“What made you take her money? Were you taking it to feed your family? Or was it just for your own sake?”

I leaned in on the table and looked at him, “So why did you two break up?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.

“You know, no more feelings, too much stress, someone cheated…,” I looked up at him and glared, “or someone scammed the other person...”

In the next ten seconds, he is going to run. I give him ten seconds. 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3

The guy stood up and began to make a run for it. Oh well, 3 is close enough. I stood up and ran after him.

“Hong Cheong Man! You are being served!” I pushed away the furniture that the guy pushed to the ground.

I ran outside and put on my earpiece to talk to Niel. Hell yeah I have an earpiece, like the undercover police.

“Oppa, can you hear me? He’s on the run!”

“I know! He’s actually in his car,” Niel chuckled.

Thing is, we’re not stupid, we’ve gone through this so many times and so many times these guys try to escape by car. Seriously? Did they not think that we would take out the battery or something? I walked up to the car and tapped on the window and smiled at the guy.

He jumped to the other side and hastily fell out of the car. I tried to run but these heels and this dress is ridiculous. I pulled the dress up so that it was up to knees and tied it.

“YAH! YAH! YAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE DRESS!”

I ignored Niel’s voice and raised my leg and aimed the heel of the shoe at the kerb.

“YAH! DON’T DO IT! THOSE ARE JIMMY CHOOS! STOP!”

Without hesitation, I kicked down onto the kerb and the heel broke off, I did the same to the other and quickly chased after the guy.

“I’m sorry oppa but I have to catch this guy.”

I ran after him and this guy really had a pair of legs. He should try to be a sportsman rather than a con. The dress was seriously annoying because it kept creeping up as I was running so I had to keep it in place with one hand and seriously, it looked and felt so weird. We reached a park which, at this time of night, still had people in it. I was pursuing him when Niel jumped out from the side and tackled the guy down onto the grass.

I stopped and turned to face them. So much running… oh my gosh… I feel so out of breath…

“Good… job…” I said in between breaths.

“Thanks,” Niel smiled as he pulled the guy up.

“Oh my gosh! I so wish I saw your face when I broke those shoes,” I laughed as we were joking around at the office two days after the job.

“What are you two joking about?” Minho walked up to us.

“We’re laughing about this guy that we caught a few nights ago. What are you doing here so late? School ended half an hour ago.”

I noticed Minho was holding a piece of paper.

“What’s that?”

Minho smiled, “Okay, so I know that you’re mission has become a bit stagnant so I brought it upon myself to help you out.”

Minho handed me a flyer, I saw that it was an introduction to university, not just any university; it was the university that the son goes to. I looked up at Minho and was really touched by this. Just because this is a two million dollar mission, doesn’t mean I can’t be grateful for every little thing.

“Thank you Minho.”

“What are you still doing here?” Minho asked me.

“What?”

“The event is in half an hour; I spent 15 minutes at school signing up for you.”

“Really?!”

“Yeah, that’s why I took so long. Now, here is the ticket.”

“Thank you!” I smiled and ran out of the office, towards the elevator.
