I despondently walked into the office and saw Niel drinking coffee besides his desk. I groaned as I made my way towards him.

“Oppa… I am so bored…”

“What?” Niel looked at me with an amused look, “Isn’t a two million dollar exciting enough for you?”

I pouted as I rested my chin on my palm, “I haven’t gotten any leads for TWO WEEKS!”

I put up two fingers in front of Niel’s face and he moved back.

“Wow, you’re really bored so I have something especially for you,” Niel smirked.

“Really?”

Sweet! I have been dying to get back out in the ‘field’ seriously; I have not done anything productive when it came to meeting Chunji, which I found out that he likes to go by; that has been the only close to useful thing I’ve done in two weeks. It’s not like I can meet him accidently, he’s always hanging out in his university and there’s no way I can get in because I don’t have the card-swiping thingy.

Niel nodded his head and walked around the desk to his computer, “Okay, so what’s happening is that I’ve been trying to get this guy who is practically still living with his mum and is a hermit.”

“Yeah…”

I leaned over the desk and looked at the screen. I saw an online dating page.

“Online dating?” I let out a small chuckle, “I didn’t know you were into that kind of stuff.”

“I’m not. But that guy is,” Niel let out a small sigh, “The thing is, he wants to chat and… I’m not a girl so yeah…”

“I don’t know… your hair is getting pretty long.”

Niel glared at me, “Anyways, he wants to meet up then because I’ve been lying and saying that I don’t have a webcam. So...”

“So you want me to meet up with him and Minho to be outside to catch him.”

“No, I’m going with you. Minho is busy with his own work.”

Ha, that’s going to be funny. Niel chasing after someone… dear lord, I got the chance to see that and I am not giving it up.

“Deal. Let’s do this!”

~~~~~Woohyun’s POV~~~~~

“Nam Woohyun, the boss wants you in his office.”

“Thanks, Ha Ni.”

I walked into the office, and saw my boss grinning widely.

“Woohyun! Woohyun! Sit down! Sit down!”

He must be really happy that I put that I took that girl to the police station like every other time? I quickly sat down and smiled along with my boss.

“I have great news for you. I have got you a new mission.”

“I can tell that it’s worth a lot of money.”

“3 million US dollars to be exact!”

“WHAT?!”

Omo! Omo! Omo! With that money, I would never have to work until I’m in my late 30’s. I can pay for university and concentrating on studying rather than chasing after girls who con others out of money. It’s better than winning the lotto because I’m only in the running for it! YES!

“You heard it right. The people who want this guy have offered us higher than the other company.”

Crap, there’s someone else going for this? Obviously, they must be pretty good for the company to pick them.

“Look, don’t worry, our client has decided to get us to do it since the other company seems to have hit a bit of a rut in their investigation.”

“Sweet,” I smirked.

Obviously they aren’t the best then.

“So anyways, just imagine, if you get 3 million dollars, I would be getting twice as much at the least,” my boss clearly displayed his greedy smile.

“So do you have the files?”

I have to start as soon as possible, if this person gets to this guy before me then I’ll not be a millionaire and I just might lose my job and future. No way.

“Better, I have the files on the man and his family and I have files on your fellow competitor.”

He preceded to hand me two folders, on labelled ‘Lee Kyung Nam’ and the other, ‘Jenny’. What the… she doesn’t have a surname? Does she think she’s some amazing assassin or spy? She’s probably one of those beautiful spies who use their looks to seduce people and knows about a gazillion languages.

“The girl is a bit complicated. We couldn’t find anything on her besides the fact she goes to a financially disadvantaged school and she’s a complete nerd. We couldn’t find anything else.”

“You couldn’t find any background information on her?”

I opened the folder and looked at her picture. She’s actually… pretty… there was something about her that didn’t exude the feeling of ‘fake’ and she wasn’t all caked up in her school photo.

“All I can say is that she’s a natural beauty, I spent thousands of US dollars searching up every plastic surgeon who were possibly in her price range and they don’t know her, I also went a step further and searched in and outside of Korea but I found no records of her. Trust me, even a person in witness protection can be found by me but I seriously couldn’t find any plastic surgery records on her.”

I looked at her profile and there were so many blanks, the family section was blank, there was nothing, no deceased parents or siblings… How the heck did she sign up for school if she doesn’t have any family? She must have come from an orphanage right? But then why isn’t there anything on here?

“She doesn’t have parents?”

“She doesn’t even have an orphanage. I told you, I couldn’t find her.”

I looked at her photo again, I analysed her facial expression.

“She’s obviously not your average teenage girl, she’s hiding something, she’s definitely got something she doesn’t want to tell everyone but I can’t see any evidence of that on her facial expressions.”

Damn it! It doesn’t even look like a normal school photo but it doesn’t look like it’s not either… what the heck?!

“Whoa! Hold it Edward Cullen. Go investigate this at home or at those fancy cafés.”

“Neh.”

I closed the files and stood up.

“I will do my best, sir,” I bowed and walked out the room.

Okay, enough on this girl. She’s just a high school girl, it’s not like she can do anything amazing. I should start planning the take down of this… Lee Kyung Nam.
