Zelo had just started his first year of high school when he had met her. She was freshly graduated and anticipated the feeling of being in the world outside of school. She was headstrong and never backed away from a challenge. Which was, funnily enough, how Zelo had met her.

When Zelo, and his hyungs at that, had first seen her, no one had expected the maknae to fall for the girl who had pigged through a bunch of food and won an eating competition. But Zelo found himself drawn to the girl who worked part-time at the local pre-school where his nephew went. They got close very quickly and Zelo couldn't help but feel disappointed every time he was introduced as 'a good dongsaeng'. It didn't take him long to work out why. Zelo confessed during his last year of high school but was rejected. 'You're young and the world is large,' he had been told, 'Feelings can change a lot quicker than you think.'

'But my feelings have remained unchanged for almost three years,' Zelo reminded himself. For two years after the confession Zelo had simply watched her from afar, hatching an ingenious plan to win her heart. And now, it was time to begin.
