It was finally D-day.

You and the rest of the students ran into the auditorium where the graduation ceremony would take place. You looked around and saw Himchan and Yongguk coming in through the double doors with flowers. “Oppas!” You waved. They smiled and waved back.

You ran over and laughed happily, “You’re here!”

“Of course. We couldn’t miss their graduation.” Himchan smiled.

“My sons are growing up.” Yongguk faked a sniffle.

You lightly pushed him and all of you laughed. “But look at you Yeojin~” Himchan whistled, “You look so sweet in your cute little uniform.” “Oppa, you’re so silly.” You giggled.

“Hyungs! Noona!” Zelo swam through the crowd and came over.

“Hey.” Yongguk smiled and lightly ruffled his hair. “Let’s scream loudly for Daehyun, Youngjae, and Jongup, okay?” Himchan smiled. You and Zelo grinned and nodded.

The ceremony began and the room quieted down. You watched the principal began his speech about the leaving students. For some reason, that made you tear up. You wiped the tears away and sniffled.

Yongguk noticed and put a comforting hand on your shoulder. “Next year, that will be you up there.”

You nodded. *I can’t believe I’m going to be a senior now. After that…college.* A shiver of excitement ran down your spine.

“Jung Daehyun.” The principal called. “WOOO!” “GO DAEHYUN!” “YEAH, BABY!” The four of you made a commotion, making Daehyun’s ears redden in embarrassment. But pleased he accepted the diploma and went off the stage.

“Moon Jongup.” At his name, all of you cheered loudly also. Jongup smiled and bowed to the principal.

Youngjae’s name was one of the last ones to be called. “Yoo Youngjae, valedictorian of this year. He received a full scholarship to Seoul University.”

“YEAH, BRAIN!” Himchan shouted. Yongguk cheered loudly and Zelo whistled. You laughed and applauded as loud as you could.

Youngjae accepted the diploma and made a big show of bowing to the audience.

“That fool.” Yongguk chuckled. You, Himchan, and Zelo laughed along with him.

The ceremony officially came to a close. The four of you went outside to meet up with the graduated students.

“Hyung!” Jongup called. Yongguk grinned and waved. Jongup ran over and Yongguk hugged him tightly, “You made it, man.” Jongup sheepishly smiled, “Thanks.” You squeezed his arm, “Good job, oppa.” He laughed, “Thank you. It means a lot to me that you cheered me on.” “Of course I would.” You smiled.

“Yeojin!” A voice called. You looked up and brightened, “Eunhae!” Smiling, she ran over. “Annyeonghasayo.” She bowed to the others and smiled brightly at you. “You came!” You laughed. “Yep. Lucky for me, my school ended early.” Eunhae beamed. You saw the bouquet in her arms and slyly elbowed her. “Who is that for, huh? Me?” You teased. Eunhae blushed, “For someone…”

At that moment Daehyun and Youngjae came over. “Congratulations, oppas!” You beamed.

“Thanks.” They smiled.

Youngjae noticed Eunhae and his eyes enlarged in surprise, “Eunhae…” She took a brave step towards him and held out the flowers, “Congratulations for graduating. I heard you got a full ride to Seoul University. Good job.” “Thanks…” Youngjae accepted the flowers. His ears were noticeably red.

You and Zelo chortled.

“Well I should go now.” Eunahe checked her watch. She turned to you and squeezed your hand, “I’ll call you later. Let’s go get shaved ice this weekend.” You smiled and nodded.

“Bye everyone.” Eunhae waved and left. Youngjae wistfully watched her walk away.

“Go get her.” Himchan said. “Muh?” Youngjae snapped his attention towards him.

“You like her, don’t you?” Yongguk smiled. Youngjae’s ears turned red, “What?! N-n-no-“

“Well it seems like she does. She came all the way here just for you. Seems a waste to just let her go.” Yongguk shrugged. Himchan slung his arm around Yongguk and pouted towards Eunhae, “Pity. She seems like a great catch. If I were you, I wouldn’t just let her leave like that. Or maybe I should go after her right now and comfort her.”

That woke Youngjae up. “Don’t even think about it, hyung!” Youngjae shot him a look and ran away.

Yongguk chuckled, “Looks like we have another couple.”

*Another couple?* You and Daehyun looked at each other and chuckled.

“Eunhae! Wait up!” Youngjae called. Eunhae turned around with a curious expression. Youngjae paused then asked, “Do you really have to go home right now?” Eunhae tilted her head *Why is he asking me that?*

“Because if you don’t…I know a killer dukkbokki house not to far away from here…” Youngjae carefully studied her expression. Eunhae’s eyes rounded but graduatlly a big smile spread on her face. “I love dukkbokki.”

Youngjae’s eyes shined, “Great! Let’s go!” Laughing they headed towards the restaurant.

“Guess that worked out.” Yongguk turned to the rest of you and clapped, “So what do you all want to eat? My treat.”

“KOREAN BBQ!” Zelo waved his arm in the air. Himchan lightly slapped the back of his head, “You’re not the one graduation, babo.” Zelo pouted.

“Sorry but,” Daehyun took your hand and tucked it under his arm. You looked at him in astonishment. Himchan’s eyes widened. “Yeojin and I already have plans.” Daehyun looked down at you. “We do?” You tilted your head in confusion. “See you guys later.” Daehyun led you away.

Himchan pointed a shaking finger at you and Daehyun, “W-what the hell was that?! Are they together?! When did that happen?!”

Yongguk chuckled and shook his head, “You blind fool. They’ve been in love since day one.”

“Muh?!” Himchan’s jaw dropped.

Yongguk slung an arm around him, “Let’s go. We’ll have a party for the rest of us bachelors.” Jongup and Zelo cheerfully followed them.

“Where are we going?” You asked Daehyun. He looked at you, “Does it really matter?” Your expression softened and you shook your head with a soft smile, “Not if it’s with you.” Daehyun smiled back and interlaced his fingers through yours. The two of you went to the busy shopping streets of Hongdae.

You and Daehyun grabbed ice cream from Baskin Robbins and walked down the streets. The two of you stopped in front of a cart selling hair ribbons.

Daehyun put an emerald bow next to your hair. “Maybe this?” You put on a furry pink headband.

Daehyun nodded. You took the headband off and he clipped the box into your hair. Daehyun turned you towards the mirror and the two of you gazed into it. His lips grew into a smile, “Perfect.” You smiled back, suddenly shy that he was gazing at you so intently.

Daehyun paid for the bow and the two of you walked some more.

“Hey!” You pointed to a table selling all sorts of masks! “I’ll buy one for you for your graduation present! How about?” You beamed.

Daehyun just grabbed your hand and led you away. Your smile fell at his unexpected rejection, “Hey-“

The two of you walked down the street. You saw an angel doll and a warm feeling spread in your heart. You took the angel and cradled it in your arms.

Daehyun came behind you and gazed down at you. “You know…it was me that gave you the angel doll that night.”

Your eyes rounded, “Really?” He nodded, “I didn’t want you to cry.”

You grew touched by his thoughtfulness *It was you all along, Daehyun oppa. You’ve been my guardian angel all along.*

Daehyun held out his hand, “You want to watch a movie?”

You put the doll back in its place and took his hand. You beamed and nodded up at him, “Mmmhmm. Let me pay. It’ll be my graduation present to you.”

Daehyun bent down and affectionately kissed your nose *Your heart is the greatest present you can give me.*
