December approached fast. Before you knew it, it was the holidays.

Today was the last day of school. Starting tomorrow would be your ‘exciting’ winter break. You already had a schedule planned out for winter cleaning.

Outside it was freezing cold. Students were bundled up but still excited.

There was continuous laughter and holiday cheer in the hallways. You didn’t receive a lot of hateful glares as you usually did, which in turn made you happier.

When the bell rang, the classroom erupted in cheers.

“Don’t forget to review your math equations and be prepared for a quiz when you come back!” Mr. Yoon’s voice was drowned out by Christmas carols.

You packed up your backpack and exited the room with Jiyeon. “Do you have any holiday plans?” You asked.

“Yeah, I’m going to a ski resort in Busan with my relatives.” She answered.

“Ahhh lucky. I’ve never been to a ski resort.” You nodded with air blown into your cheeks.

“What about you? What are you going to do?” Jiyeon warily questioned.

“Eh, nothing special. Mostly I’ll just stay home. It’ll be boring.” You scratched your head.

*Boring? Living with the blonde hotties? Something is wrong with you. I’d rather spend my winter vacation with Daehyun instead of watching my bratty cousins show off their new overseas shopping items.* Jiyeon tossed her hair. She saw her car outside of the gate. “I should go. I’ll see you soon.”

“Have fun!” You waved and watched her disappear into the blanket of ice. You were about to step out of the school when someone grabbed your arm and yanked you into a broom closet. “What the- who is this?! Let me go!” You thrashed wildly in the dark.

The light bulb turned on and you looked up to see your captor. Your eyes widened, “ZICO-“

He clamped a hand over your mouth and put a finger to his lips. “Shh.” His eyes were full of mischief. His eyes shifted over to the slightly parted door.

You fixed your attention on it. Outside, you saw four blonde heads heading towards the exit.

“Noona! Oh, noona isn’t here yet!” Zelo put his hand against his brows and scanned the vicinity, “HELLOOOO! YEOJIN NOONA! WHERE ARE YOUUUUU?”

“Aish, where’d this nun go?” Youngjae scratched his head.

Daehyun looked around. Something was off. His eyebrows furrowed suspiciously.

“Try calling her.” Jongup suggested. “Ah, that’s right. You’re using your head for once, Jongup.” Youngjae approvingly nodded and took out his phone.

You fumbled through your pocket and pulled it out, ready to scream for help.

But Zico clamped his hand over your mouth tighter and snatched the phone from you. “Ah, ah, ah.” He shook his head and wagged his finger.

Your hands dropped uselessly by your sides.

Zico slowly pulled his hand away from you. You opened your mouth, getting ready to call the boys.

But Zico threatened, “Scream and I’ll block it. With my lips, this time.”

You quickly shut your mouth.

Zico smirked and began to type something into your phone. Your eyebrows pinched together *What is he doing?*

Zico pressed send and shut your phone off. “There.”

“What did you do?” You asked.

“Just watch.” He nodded to the door.

You turned around and watched between the crack.

“Oh, she texted me.” Youngjae pulled out his phone and read the message out loud, “ELOPING. DON’T LOOK FOR ME.”

Your eyes widened *WHAT?!* You whirled your head around and stared at Zico. He smirked widely.

“What the hell?” Youngjae scratched his head. “Seriously, where did she go?!”

“What’s wrong?” Jongup read the message again and his eyes widened.

Zelo scratched his head, “Hmm. That doesn’t like something noona would do.”

*That isn’t like Yeojin at all. What happened?* Daehyun spun around.

Before you could call for him, Zico shut the door in the nick of time. Daehyun saw the broom closet but nothing seemed suspicious about it so he faced forward again.

“Whatever. Let’s just go.” Youngjae left. Jongup scratched his head, looked around one more time, and followed suit. “What about noona?!” Zelo ran after Youngjae. “She’ll come on her own.” Youngjae carelessly said.

Daehyun didn’t like this feeling. Where had you gone? Finally, he left also.

You burst out of the closet, “OPPAS!” But they were all gone.

Zico stepped out while clucking his tongue with his hands inside his pockets, “I guess they all left without you. Pity. What kind of boyfriend is that, huh?”

You scowled at him, “What did you do that for?! That was a mean trick!”

“It was a brilliant trick.” Zico swiped his thumb across his bottom lip with a grin.

*Great. I’ll have to walk home alone because of this blonde doofus.* You started stalking towards the doors.

Zico caught up with you and grabbed your arm. You spun around, exasperated, “What now?!”

Zico innocently blinked, “I just wanted to ask you something.”

“What?” You asked.

“…Do you like dukkbokki?” He asked.

“…Do I like what?” You asked, bewildered.
