You caught the spoon before it could hit the floor.

Yongguk stood up in outrage, “WHAT?! THAT BASTARD FROM THE CLUB GOES TO YOUR SCHOOL NOW?!”

Youngjae nodded, “Yep.”

“I can’t believe this. God is mocking me. I wanted him dead and gone but he ends up living right next to me.” Yongguk muttered while clutching onto his hair.

“We should move.” Himchan nodded.

“Hell no! Why should we move our home because of him?!” Yongguk snarled. That would hurt his pride and ego and he wouldn’t let that happen.

You agreed, “Yeah, and foster dad left his house and auto shop to us. We can’t just sell his property.” Everyone was quiet in agreement.

Jongup looked up at Yongguk in worry, “What do we do, hyung?”

“There’s nothing to do. Just endure it.” Youngjae shrugged.

“I want all of you to stay far away from him. If you get sent to the principal’s office because you were humiliated by him, you will be disowned by me! However, if you get sent to the office because you beat his ass, I will allow that!” Yongguk declared.

You shook your head, “Babo oppa. You can’t just make up rules like that.”

“AND YOU!” Youngguk pointed straight at you.

You jumped in surprise. Your spoon clattered onto the plate. “What?” You blinked.

“YOU STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM!” Yongguk shot the others warning looks, “If I hear that she’s anywhere near that disgusting freak, you are all dead, you hear me?!”

“You heard that, Song Yeojin? You gotta listen to me well.” Youngjae said.

“He never said that.” You made a face.

“Your face is going to stay frozen like that if you keep making that hideous face.” Youngjae said. “

I believed that when I was in elementary school, oppa. Now I know better.” You stuck your tongue out.

Yongguk crazily muttered to himself, “Maybe I should enroll as a high school student again! I could beat him up AND keep him away from Yeojin! Ha!”

“I think I should become a high school student again. I look HOT in a uniform.” Himchan smirked.

“Ugh.” Jongup, Youngjae, and Zelo made faces.

“What?! You don’t think so?!” Himchan asked in disbelief. He turned to you, “Baby doll, I looked pretty sexy in my school uniform, right?”

Without a word you took your plate to the sink. “I’m done!” You rushed past the table towards the stairs.

“Yah! Song Yeojin! You didn’t answer my question! Yah!” Himchan called.

“Obviously that means no.” Youngjae snickered then yelped, “OW!”

Himchan gave him a warning glare and Youngjae cursed under his breath.

A moment later, all of BAP was done. Zelo left his dish on the counter. Daehyun came with his plate and smacked the back of Zelo’s head. “Ow! What’s the big deal, Daehyun hyung?!” He yelped. Daehyun eyed the plate firmly. Zelo sighed and tossed it into the sink, “There? Happy.”

Daehyun smiled through his mask and gently placed his place on top of everyone else’s. He headed upstairs and touched his doorknob. Just as he was about to go in, you came out of your room. “Is everyone done eating?” He nodded.

You pulled up your sleeves to get ready to wash the dishes. Daehyun opened his door when you abruptly asked, “Oppa, are you okay?” He stopped and gave you a questioning look.

“You know, back in school today…the blonde guy we met at the club insulted you. He called you a masked loser.” You reminded.

Daehyun shrugged. *What do I care about his opinion? He’s not anywhere near important in my life. There’s only one person’s opinion I care about in this world…*

As if you had read his mind you said, “Well, I don’t think you’re a masked loser.”

Daehyun stared at you. You shrugged, “At first it did bother me that you were always wearing the mask but I got used to it now. I just wish you would speak more…” His eyes softened. You shrugged and slapped a smile on your face, “What I’m saying is, I like you just the way you are, Daehyun oppa. And that’s all that should matter, right?” You laughed.

His heart almost jumped out and hugged you. *How can she always know the right things to say? That’s one of the many reasons why I love her.* Daehyun thought.

A door opened and Zelo popped his head out, “Noona, I want ice cream cake.”

“I’ll go get it for you.” You left.

Daehyun watched you go downstairs. “Hyung? You want cake, too?” Zelo tilted his head.

Daehyun went into his room and slammed the door shut. “Or not.” Zelo shrugged.

Daehyun leaned against his door and put a hand against his thumping chest. He yanked his mask down and exhaled deeply. *Song Yeojin, you freaking drive me crazy. I don’t know until when I can control myself either. Each and every day I’m starting to want you more and more… The question is, when I finally confess to you, will you accept me? I’m so scared you won’t and our relationship will become awkward. I don’t want to lose you in my life.*
