Chapter 20 - Speak of the Devil

Kai’s POV. (A/N; whut whuut!)

So, Lu Han hyung didn’t come to practice last night. Apparently he’s sick.
Who is he kidding? We all know he skipped for a reason. Lu Han hyung is never sick. Even if he’s sick, he still comes to practice.

So the members and I decided to head over to his house on this lovely Saturday morning. Yes, all eleven of us.

Our manager dropped us off in front of his house with our limo. We all got out and looked like we were some kind of army ready to battle in a war. Girls passing by us were shocked to see so many handsome faces at the same time so they just stared and giggled. I smiled to them before heading over to the door with Lay hyung. We decided not to shock the maids with the amount of members because they would definitely not let us in so we decided they should hide before.

We rang the doorbell several times before someone would open. One of his maids opened it with an annoyed expression after I pressed it twelve times. Each press for each member.
 
“Hi, is Lu Han hyung home?” I said and was about to walk in when she stopped me.

“He’s sleeping, sir! Goodbye!” She said and tried closing the door but Lay hyung blocked it and gave her a pretty smile.

“You know we won’t do anything to your precious master, he’s our friend!” he said in a kind voice. He gave her a big bright smile. You sly boy, Lay hyung! I thought and smiled. She got shy and started giggling. Then she sounded worried.

“Please don’t make him angry, because he will let it out on us maids!” She said before she let us in. Lay hyung and I nodded our heads like five year olds getting lectured. I gave an OK signal with my hand to the others that we could come inside. They hurried up and barged in. I could see the maid almost getting a heart attack from the amount of boys storming in.

“Are they still sleeping together?” Chanyeol asked me while half of us went up to wake him.
It was me, Chanyeol, Sehun, Tao, Baekhyun, D.O and Chen, the young boy team. The old boy team waited downstairs while watching TV.

“Probably” I answered. We were all really loud while walking upstairs so Baekhyun told us to shut up.

“You shut up” Chanyeol retorted. They started bickering with each other so D.O went in between.

“Both of you shut up!” he said. Chanyeol looked away and Baekhyun did the same.

“What if she’s naked?” Sehun suddenly asked. He was serious.
His question was stupid, so Tao flicked his forehead.

“Why would she be naked, in front of him?!” he said. Sehun shrugged his shoulders.
 “Here goes nothing” Tao said and was about to open the door.
“Be as quiet as possible, because Moon Ri is in there too. And she will freak out if she sees us”
We all nodded and went inside.

So, we were definitely not ready for what we saw. THEY WERE SLEEPING TOGETHER. ON HIS BED. His head was on the crook of her neck. Nuzzling her, hugging her, LOVING HER. Oh my God. Is he kidding me?! Is he kidding us?! He is such a liar for saying that he doesn’t like her.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol dropped on the floor and started laughing from the sight. They were laughing so hard that no sound came out. It looked like the world became muted. I couldn’t help but to laugh hysterically in silence while clutching my stomach. This was just too much to handle. Sehun was trying really hard not to burst out in laughter so Chen was holding on to his mouth while laughing himself. Tao and D.O were blushing really hard while gaping like gorillas.

I went closer to take a look at them. That’s when I saw that they both have black eyes.
“Wait, why do they have black eyes?” I asked and looked at the others. Chanyeol went up from the floor to check.

“Maybe they started punching each other in their sleep?” Baekhyun said.

“Maybe it’s just big ass hickeys” Chanyeol said while looking down at them. All the members looked at him as if he was stupid, which he is actually. We all looked at them while whispering things to each other and giggling.

Lu Han hyung suddenly stirred around in his sleep and went closer to her. He was hugging her while making these faces he usually does when he’s asleep. We all stopped breathing as we feared he would wake up. But he wasn’t the one who woke up. Moon Ri suddenly sat up out of nowhere, making everyone startled. It looked like she was having a nightmare. In that moment, I really stopped breathing. The members were surrounding the bed, making her look around. She widened her eyes when she saw Lu Han hyung lying next to her.

She slapped him in the face which made some of us laugh.

“Five more minutes” he said in a grumpy voice and tried to pull her down again so he could hug her.
Chanyeol and Sehun started to giggle again.

“GET OFF!” She screamed and kicked him out of the bed. That’s when we all lost it and laughed again.

Even though I was laughing, I was sad. Because seeing Moon Ri and hyung together like that made me think of Hyesoon.


Your POV.

“Did they do something?”
“They look so pretty together”
“He totally likes her”
“Shut up! They are going to wake up”
“Idiot”
“Oh my God!”
They were so shocked when you suddenly flipped up from the bed. You were even more shocked when you were greeted by seven guys surrounding you. You looked around in horror. You widened your eyes when you saw the jerk lying next to you. You slapped him to check if he was real because you have a hard time knowing the difference between a dream or reality when you're tired. That bastard responded by saying he wanted to sleep more and tried to drag you back again. That’s when you had enough and kicked him off the bed, making him wake up. Take that asshole! All the guys started to giggle and laugh. Lu Han shot up from the floor and looked around. He had his bed hair and his eyes were half asleep. He looked pissed now.

“GET OUT! NOW!” Lu Han screamed to them.

“Whatever” they mumbled. On the way out they kept giving you these looks and winks. Some of them even did thumbs up. You on the other hand were covering yourself with the blankets and looked horrified. Lu Han sat next to you on the bed and put an arm around your shoulder when they went out and shut the door. You looked at him in a disgusted way.

“What do you want?” you asked him suspiciously. He turned his head around to face you. He stared deeply into your eyes while coming closer. You looked at him with your eyes wide open from horror. What is he doing?! You started to back whenever he came closer, making your body tilt to the right. You could feel that your heart was about to jump out from your rib cage whenever you looked him in the eyes. That didn’t stop him though since he kept coming closer. Suddenly you felt your body getting heavy, making you fall down from the bed. Lu Han tried catching you but ended up the same direction. You were lying on the floor with him on top. You could almost hear him breathe since he was so close. It was so quiet that you if you swallowed your saliva, he could hear it. He was still looking at you while his arms were supporting him, surrounding your body. You stopped breathing since you got nervous and looked at him with a pissed off face. He was giving you one of his famous smirks and was about to do something. Luckily, he got interrupted when the door flung open.

“Hyung, the-” Chanyeol suddenly said and stopped when he saw both of you on the floor.
“Ooops, bad timing” he said and closed the door. You could hear him laugh and running to the others. You pushed Lu Han away and stood up.

“What the hell is wrong with you!?” you screamed to him. You were panting a bit since you didn’t have enough oxygen from holding your breath earlier.

“Stop acting like you don't love it” he said and smirked. You looked at him quizzically.
“We kissed last night” he continued.

“What kiss?! Are you crazy? Something is wrong with you! You're confusing me with someone else you jerk” you yelled. You suddenly remembered your dream, making you flashback.

You were sleeping on the same bed as Lu Han because you were freezing. He was embracing you so it looked like a scene from a romantic film, making you two look like a couple. Suddenly you fell asleep. You dreamed about the same scenario, only it was more romantic and loving. He was mumbling something about your black eye and you only blurted out random answers. He was doing the same since he was sleepy. He suddenly kissed you which made your heart flip 50 times. Your reaction was normal since it felt good, so you kissed him back. Suddenly the dream got interrupted when you woke up only to see a group of boys staring at you.

So it happened?!

Lu Han’s POV.

She is stupid, really. I knew she thought she was dreaming since she immediately started snoring out loud after she responded to my kiss. I laughed afterwards and went to sleep since she probably doesn’t know that it happened for real.

She was now looking at me with the biggest eyes I have ever seen. She was blushing like crazy.
“Yes pabo, it was not a dream. It happened” I said.

Kai's POV.

We were all waiting downstairs for Moon Ri and Lu Han hyung while trying to pick a couples name for them. We tried Moon Han and Lu Ri but it didn’t feel original. It got quiet after a while.

“Are they dating now or what?” Chanyeol asked innocently. He was sitting on the floor since the couches were occupied.

“I don’t think so” I answered. “Maybe”

“Nah, Lu Han is probably just horny” Lay hyung said while scanning through a magazine. Sehun started to smile and blush from the word horny.

“His hormones are flying everywhere” Kris said and shook his head while looking at the tv screen. We all laughed before Baekhyun suddenly suggested a couple name.

“What about the Baby-face couple?”

“That’s too simple!” Chanyeol said. They started giving each other evil glares but then looked away and acted as if nothing happened. They are always arguing yet they love each other the most.

We all went quiet when we saw Moon Ri and hyung coming in to the living room. We all stared at their black eyes. They were humongous. She had her black eye on her left eye while Luhan hyung had his on the right eye.

“How about the blackeyed baby-face couple?” Xiu Min suggested and smiled.
We all nodded our heads in approval while looking at them.

Your POV.

You were sitting in the dining room, all 13 of you. The maids were panicking with cooking the food since all eleven boys came out of nowhere. And they had to make a lot of food since they eat a lot. You were thinking about the kiss you and Lu Han had last night. That was actually your first kiss. You could feel that you were blushing like an idiot and tried avoiding Lu Han's eyes.

You sat in the middle of the table and Lu Han just had to sit in front of you. How typical!! Next to him were Chanyeol and Xiu Min and next to you were Lay and Baekhyun. You kept noticing that Lu Han would take a quick glance at you now and then but you ignored him in purpose. If you stared back your cheeks are going to explode. You couldn’t stop thinking about that kiss which made you more embarrassed.

When they maids served the food you instantly dug in and ignored the world as usual. They were all trying to act normal but seeing the way you eat, someone had to say something.

“Wow you eat like a man!” Tao said.

“More like a dog” Lu Han said while cutting up something on his plate. You gave him the evil eye quickly before lightly kicking his leg underneath the tables. You were still too embarrassed about the kiss so you didn't dare to glare at him as usual. He widened his eyes at you and continued with what he was doing. “I would say I’m kidding if I wasn’t lying” he said quietly.

The EXO members were all having a fun time while eating. It was fine other than that they were too loud and pieces of food would actually fly by from the end of the table to the other. You would only furrow your eyebrows from the sight but ignored it. You couldn’t help but to notice that Lu Han would smile and laugh with them. It was weird seeing him like that. He caught you staring at him and changed his expression which made you snap out of it. You acted normal and ate your dessert. You suddenly got a shock when you could feel a pair of feet caress yours. You stopped chewing and looked at him, but he was speaking too Lay. Who the heck is toe flirting with me then?!

You had to check to be sure and you were right from the beginning. Lu Han was sneakily touching your feet with his while acting normal. Oh my god!!
You tried to move your feet away but he would eventually find them again. You couldn’t eat properly since it was distracting you and making you do these awkward movements.

“Stop it!!” you whispered to him.

“Stop what?” he said and acted like nothing and toe flirted with you. You could feel his feet going higher and higher so you tried to kick him off.

“With that!!” you whispered with an annoyed tone. The members started to sense that you weren’t feeling comfortable. You tried acting normal because you knew that they were all going to flip with happiness if they saw what was going on under the table. They stared at you with worried faces while you were trying really hard not to explode. Lu Han was smirking while still caressing your legs with his foot. The members decided to break the silence and asked something.

“So how did you two get your black eyes?”

“I got a face punch while she got kicked in the face while drowning” Lu Han answered. The members gaped at him for being so casual about it. You on the other were shocked over that he could act like normal even though he was toe flirting with you. How can he be so calm even though he clearly is not judging from the toe actions?!

“Are you okay?” Lay asked me. You looked at him and gave him a weak smile since he worried.

“Yes, I’m fine” STOP IT LUHAN!

“Does it hurt?” Baekhyun asked you. You looked around and noticed that every member was looking sad and worried about you. So you let out a laughter which shocked them.

“Yes, I am fine. You don’t have to worry you guys.”

“Why isn’t anyone asking about me?” Lu Han said and pouted. No one cares!

“You got a punch, which means you probably deserved it” Kris said and chuckled. Chen gave him a high five before looking down when he noticed Lu Han giving him the cold stare.

“So who saved you?” Sehun asked.

“Gongchan” you said. You could see Lu Han looking at you even though you were looking down. He stopped toe flirting with you. So you slowly looked up to face him. He looked hurt. And amazingly, he looked sad. You were shocked from the sight. Shit, is he mad at me now? The members were looking at you two and noticed the tension. They probably know that Lu Han and Gongchan don’t come along very well judging from their looks. You and Lu Han’s little staring competition got interrupted when one of the maids made an obvious cough.

“Sir, a guest has arrived” one of them said. The maids made a way before a tall guy walked in. It was Gongchan. He was looking at you while giving you a weak smile.

“Speak of the devil..” Lu Han said.
