First day of school

[Lee Jieun's POV] 

 

I walked to the high school with my best friend, Yoona. We were being accepted to this school yesterday, when the letter came. We were so happy that we texted each other for almost the whole night. "So tired, I should have sleep earlier yesterday." I said, with sleepy eyes. Yoona nodded. "Yeah, we should have sleep earlier yesterday instead of texting each other for almost the whole night." She told me. We went in to the school and walked past the school's notice board. We were looking at the results of Year 1 last year, the Top 3. 

#1 Jang Wooyoung

#2 Ok Taecyeon

#3 Lynn Lee 

 

I was so envious those people in Top 3. They're so clever. Yoona and I were at Class E, which is the second last class  in our school. We sighed because we've lots of things we do not understand. From this year onwards, Yoona and I decided to be more hardworking than before a lot more and get into a better class. "Yah, let's go to our class now." Yoona told me. I nodded. When we reached the class, we were shocked. There was a whole group of girls crowding around a table there, screaming and shouting, "Oppa, where do you live?", "Oppa, can I have your phone number and autograph?", "Oppa, can I take a photo with you?", "Oppa, can I be your girlfriend?". 

 

I walked there and shouted, "YAH! It's class time, not fan meeting or what!" All the girls turned around and looked at me, including the guy. I went back to my seat. Just then, the bell rang. It was time for class. The teacher came and the guy disappeared, probably he's not our classmate. The whole lesson I was thinking about other things. No matter how many times I asked myself to concentrate, I still can't. I kept thinking about other things. Finally, the lesson was over and it was time for lunch. "Yoona, how's the first lesson? I saw you not concentrating." I said.

 

"Yah, you too, pabo!" She said and smiled at me. I smiled back. Just then, I knocked onto someone. "Mianhae! I'm sorry." I apologize.

 

"It's okay." He said in english. How can his english be so fluent? 

 

I managed to see his name tag, writing "Jang Wooyoung". Wait, this name is so familiar. What? He's the number one in our school Year 1 last year? He's so clever! By the way,  he is Year 2 now since he was Year 1 last year. He's so handsome! Wait, am I falling in love with him? No way. He won't like me even. 

 

"Yoona, I saw Wooyoung! The most clever in Year 1." I said. 

 

"Really? How's he?" She asked. I smiled, "Super cool and so fluent in english!" Just then, a girl walked passed me. "Excuse me, do you know who's Jang Wooyoung?" I asked. She was shocked that I asked about him, "You're IU, right?" she said. I nodded, "How did you know my name?" I asked. She burst out of laughter, "I'm your classmate, pabo!" 

 

"Ohh..." I said, scratching my head, looking confused. 

 

"By the way, don't you know Jang Wooyoung? He is very popular in school and also the genius in school. He can get all subjects full marks without even studying and can memorize all the things in a short time. He's a player too. I heard that he has about 15 girlfriends a month." She told me. 

 

"WHAT? IS HE CRAZY!?" I shouted. 15 girlfriends a month? So it's about 2 days change 1 girlfriend? Is he crazy? 

 

"Shh! Not too loud. Everyone is looking at you. By the way, I'm Lynn." She said. I smiled, "I'm Lee Jieun, call me as IU and this is my best friend, Yoona." I said, Yoona smiled. 

 

"Annyeong, but to be honest, Wooyoung is very handsome." She said. Yeah, indeed, he is, he's almost perfect... But too bad he's a player.....

 

"Umm, Miss? Annyeong. You still remember me?" A voice appeared from nowhere. I turned around and almost fainted.....
