Second Chances

Description

Summary: Jonghoon, an aristocrat, was in love with a boy named Jeremy who was the prince of England at that time however, due to status and family connections, they weren’t allowed to see each other. An incident broke out and Jonghoon, who was out trying to rescue Jeremy, was killed and reborn as a second chance but has a curse planted upon his return. He must find true love before time runs out. If time runs out, he will disappear forever.

Takes place in late 1800’s in England and modern day Korea.

Jonghoon (18)- A boy from the 1800's given a second chance to live under a condition. He was in love with England's Prince Jeremy but when he meets Hongki in his second life, he develops mixed feelings for both. He is gentle, sophisticated, intelligent and devoted to both Jeremy and Hongki. Goes by Choi Jonghoon in his second chance. He turns 18 in Chapter 9.

Jeremy(18)- The Prince of England at the time. He is childhood friends with both Shinwoo and Jonghoon but is oblivious to their feelings for him. Cheerful despite the pressure he has of inheriting the throne; he is half-English, half-Korean. He turns 18 in Chapter 5.

Shinwoo (18)- A boy from a rich family and best friends with Jonghoon and Jeremy with feelings for the latter. He often thinks of Jonghoon as both friend and rival. His whereabouts are unknown after the events of the attack. Shinwoo is quiet, serious yet friendly and a protective guy when it comes to Jeremy.

Lee Hongki (18)- A boy who lives in Korea, resembles Jeremy and a passionate music fan who is struggling to keep his band, FT Island, alive after the loss of their most popular member. He becomes friends with Jonghoon at first but starts to fall for him later on. He is cheerful, energetic and a bit arrogant but a good person overall. He does newspaper and milk delivery.

Lee Jaejin (16)- Hongki's friend, bandmate, and bassist of FT Island. He is in love with Oh Wonbin and wants to know why he left the group. He is gentle, shy and pretty goofy. He gets gloomy everytime he sees Jonghoon.

Song Seunghyun (15)- Rapper and guitarist who is tall for his age. He is very random and mostly the comic relief. He is humorous and majorly in love with Minhwan. Also very eccentric but is a good person.

Choi Minhwan (15)- Drummer and the youngest in FT Island. Very bubbly and energetic, Minhwan is the band's happy pill. He has no mother so he looks up to Hongki like an older brother and a mother. He is in love with Seunghyun so much that it makes Hongki and Jaejin sick of their lovey-doveyness.

Oh Wonbin (17)- Ex-Member of FT Island. He left the band for unknown circumstances despite being the most popular member at the time. It is known that Jaejin is in love with him but it is unknown if he feels the same. He is very mysterious and avoids FT Island when he encounters them by coincidence.

Jung Yonghwa (18)- Hongki's crush in school. Leader of CN Blue and the lead singer, rapper and guitarist. He is the spitting image of Shinwoo but their personalities are different. In Chapter 15, his girlfriend Seo Joohyun is introduced.

Lee Jonghyun (17)- Tough, burning guitarist of CN Blue. He is good friends with both FT Island and his fellow bandmates. He can see ghosts and is aware of Jonghoon's second chance. A trustworthy guy anyone can rely on.

Kang Minhyuk (16)- CN Blue's drummer. A boy who fits the word "lovely" very well. He is tall and very gentle. He gets along well with Minhwan and treats him like a younger brother. He is often mistaken as the youngest of CN Blue. He also gets sleepy when he is around Jonghoon.

Lee Jungshin (16)- A tall guy who plays bass for CN Blue. He is very random, shy and a bit socially awkward around people he does not know. He is good friends with Jaejin due to their passion in their respective instrument. Looks up to Yonghwa with respect and is a skilled photographer as well.

Other characters: (has some spoilers so don't read until you read all of the chapters)

Sophia- Jonghoon's maid.

Sarah- Shinwoo's maid

The King- Jeremy's father and the King of England.

Prime Minister- The Prime Minister of England.

Charlotte- The Prime Minister's daughter.

Joseph- Charlotte's lover.

Shim Shikyung - An openly gay guy who has a crush on Hongki and pretty looking men in general.

Eliminator (16 physically) - A spirit sent to "eliminate" the Giver. He is obsessed with eliminating him. Has a soft spot for a boy named Kevin. He is also fluent in both English and Korean. Goes by Eli in the human world.

Kevin (16) - A tall boy who is dating Eli. He is aware of the fact that his lover is a spirit. He is in the same class as Jaejin.

Seo Joohyun (16) - Nicknamed Seohyun, she is Yonghwa's girlfriend. She is the class president of her homeroom and in the same class as Jaejin, Jungshin, and Minhwan.

Foreword

Hello, this is my first story in Asianfanfics.

This story originally is from my Livejournal...but after some circumstances, I decided to go on a hiatus there and came here to this website which I wanted to join but didn't had the time to.

The main pairings are Jongki, Wonjin (or Jaebin, however you prefer), Seunghwan and others.
