A/N: There is a reference to the drama Shut Up Flower Boy Band. I kept the description of it a little generic for people who haven't watched it yet. I mentioned episode two but I made sure not to give away the ending of the episode. If you haven't watched this drama yet, then I think you should cuz it's an amazing drama in my opinion. Anyways, on to the story!

------------------

Was it possible that the world looked so bright and radiant? Minah and G.O had stayed up all night together. They didn’t need to say anything as they gazed up at the stars.

It was a chilly night but together, they didn’t feel the cold at all in fact they were comfortable sitting beside each other wrapped up in the blanket.

Minah realized how much she loved being with G.O. He was easy to get along with and there was no need for conversation when she was with him.

Now, as the sun rose Minah lips curled up into a small smile. She leaned on G.O’s shoulder as he pulled the blanket around them more tightly; his fingers trembling nervously. He had never had a girlfriend before, in fact he didn’t even know if they were a couple or not.

*I mean, I haven’t asked her out properly. All we did was kiss once.*

At that thought, his cheeks flushed a bright red. The temperature in his body rose rapidly. It caused Minah to shift away slightly as her forehead creased with worry.

“Is something wrong? Are you sick?” She questioned, reaching out to press the back of her hand against his forehead.

G.O shook his head frantically. “N-no, I’m fine. H-how about we go inside now,” he stammered. Laughing softly, Minah nodded. “Sure.”

Slowly, G.O crawled back into his room first. His legs felt numb from sitting up there all night without moving. Shaking his legs out, he poked his head out the window to call for Minah to come down.

Moments later, she cautiously started moving towards him. He caught her by the waist and pulled her into the room, tripping over his own feet and tumbling backwards. Both of them yelped in surprise.

G.O found himself staring into Minah’s eyes, her face merely centimeters away from his. Just slightly tilting his head up would make their lips meet. He didn’t understand why, but he completely froze in place. He made no move to get up and help Minah up, he just lay on the ground with a deer-in-the-headlights expression on his face.

Minah’s eyes searched his face, her lips curling up into an amused smile. She lightly knocked her forehead against his before rolling off of him and getting to her feet. Holding out a hand, she helped G.O stand up.

“So, what are we going to do now?” She asked him. His only response was to stare at their hands which seemed to fit perfectly together. Growing irritated, Minah lightly yanked on G.O’s hand and he jerked to his senses.

“U-uh, I umm. How about we make breakfast?” He suggested. She smiled warmly at him as she picked up her mask which had gotten wrapped up in the blanket. An unreadable expression came on her face as she gazed at it. Mixed emotions such as relief, sadness, fear, and joy coursed through her when she tossed the mask into G.O’s trash bin.

“Are you sure you don’t want to keep it?” He asked. He couldn’t help but feel disappointed that she had thrown away the mask he’d gotten her, but of course he had never told her he was the one who gave her it. Minah shook her head and started heading out of his room.

“It’s fine. I don’t wanna hide behind that mask anymore,” she replied. G.O beamed in delight, overwhelmed with happiness that Minah was finally breaking out of her shell.

The pair walked downstairs to find the house empty. “Where’s your mom?” Minah asked.

“She’s probably shopping or something. My stepdad is at work right now,” he responded. Minah raised an eyebrow. “Stepdad?”

G.O nodded as he headed into the kitchen and opened the fridge. “What do you wanna eat? We don’t have much in here,” he said.

He pulled out a jug of milk and then reached up to grab a box of cereal. “Is cereal okay? We can go out for breakfast if you want to,” he mumbled in an apologetic tone. Smiling softly, Minah shook her head.

“I haven’t had cereal in a while. Let’s eat,” she replied. G.O grabbed two bowls and spoons and handed them to Minah who brought them over to the dining table.

Together, they poured in the cereal and the milk into each bowl and finally sat down to eat. The only sounds in the room were the clanking of spoon against bowl as the pair peacefully ate their cereal. Occasionally, their eyes would meet causing them both to blush.

They were a couple that was naïve and innocent when it came to things like love. Were they supposed to act differently now that they were together? Or do they treat each other the way they always did, albeit with a little more affection?

Finishing at the same time, they helped one another clean up. G.O soaped the dishes while Minah rinsed them and placed them on the drying rack. He flicked foam at her and she let out a tiny squeal.

“Yah, don’t do that!” She snapped. G.O smirked and tilted his head playfully. “Do what? This?” He teased, flicking more bubbles at her.

“That’s it, you’ll pay for that,” she threatened in a low voice. His eyes grew wide and he gulped nervously. “I-I’m sorry. I-I was just p-playing around,” he stuttered.

A sly smile came on Minah’s face as she splashed G.O with water. He gasped and stared at her, jaw hung open in bewilderment. She laughed at his expression, dried her hands, and dashed away.

“W-what? Minah, that’s not fair!” He shouted. Rapidly washing the dishes, G.O placed them on the drying rack before running away to find Minah.

His footsteps echoed throughout the silent house. He opened every single door, went into his room, and searched everywhere. Still, there was no sign of Minah.

*Where did she go? She didn’t leave, right?*

Suddenly, he felt a tap on his left shoulder. He whipped around, a grin on his face, and expected to see Minah. His eyes widened when he didn’t find her.

“Minah?”

“Where are you looking?” Minah’s voice came to him from his right. G.O turned his head and jumped in surprise. “W-when did you get there?”

Minah merely smiled and walked into the living room. He followed her, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion when he saw his homework on the coffee table.

“How did my homework get there?” He wondered aloud. “I put it there,” Minah replied.

“You did? But why?” He asked. “Because you haven’t had a chance to do it while I was around. I’ll help you,” she said.

“A-are you sure? What about your homework?” He said as he sat down on the couch. Minah took a seat beside him and stared at the papers on the table. “I didn’t have that much so I finished it all during school,” she replied simply.

G.O nodded in understanding and grabbed a pencil. He started working on his homework while Minah watched him and helped him with the questions he had problems with. It wasn’t exactly what you’d think of as a “date” but to those two it was comforting and relaxing. They didn’t need candlelight dinners or walks by the Han River. Something as simple as eating breakfast together, washing the dishes, and even helping one another with homework was satisfying.

It took them about two hours to finish. Afterwards, they made a lunch that consisted of whatever they could find in the fridge. It was an interesting endeavor since there wasn’t much in there to work with. However, any onlooker could see that the pair was having fun just being together.

Once they had eaten their food, they went into the living room again and turned on the TV. G.O sat down on the couch and Minah curled up beside him, hesitantly resting her head on his shoulder. The little couple action still felt a little awkward to her, but once she put her head on his shoulder it felt right.

“What do you wanna watch?” G.O asked. Minah shrugged, not caring about it at all. She never had the time to watch TV regularly so she had no clue what was on. “Okay, we’ll just watch a drama or something. If you don’t like it, just tell me,” he said.

The drama that was playing was Shut Up Flower Boy Band. It was the first episode. Minah smiled to herself as she watched the boys interacting with one another. It reminded her of the way Joon, Seungho, Mir, Cheondoong, and G.O interacted.

They soon found themselves getting sucked into the drama as neither one of them spoke. The second episode played right after the first. Minah and G.O were too absorbed in the drama to want to do something else.

*It’s funny. The Byunghee in the drama is like the exact opposite of this Byunghee.*

Minah turned her head and realized that G.O had fallen asleep. His head was slumped over to one side and his lips were slightly parted.

Her gaze softened as she carefully got up and gently laid G.O down on the couch in a more comfortable position. She went upstairs and grabbed a blanket from his room. Covering him with it, an affectionate smile came on her face.

Ever so softly, she placed a kiss on his forehead. Then, out of the corner of her eye she saw something on the TV screen that shocked her.

The second episode of the drama had ended in a way that Minah never would have expected it to end. Her legs quivered a little as she was overcome with shock.

*I never would have expected that to happen.*

Her eyes flickered over to G.O who was still sleeping and she shivered involuntarily. Taking a piece of paper, she wrote a little note for him, telling him that she had gone home.

Satisfied, she took one last look at G.O before leaving his home. She made sure to lock the door on her way out.

Minah realized that it was already around 11 at night. She didn’t particularly feel safe walking back home that late but she had gotten used to it by now.

As she walked, her fingers played with the charm bracelet, grazing over each charm.
