Melina’s pov

I wake up to a beeping sound and smell of medicine. I don’t know where I am and I feel so tired to open my eyes but I can hear voices around me.

“ Doctor please tell me you can save her please tell me you can do something.” I hear Gikwang’s voice. What does he mean by save her? Why should I be saved? I want to speak to say I am awake and I feel fine but I can’t move my lips they feel heavy.

“ Gikwang what is the doctor saying please translate I want to understand too, tell me he can save her please.” I hear my dad’s voice. I feel scared now. What is wrong with me? I feel fine.

“ Mr Lee, well your girlfriend is suffering from a disease that’s making her heart weak. That’s why she collapsed because she couldn’t breathe. Did she ever have someone in her family history with the same condition?” I hear a male voice, I am assuming it’s the doctor.

“ Father, what was Melina’s mum’s condition? I think she has the same. This can’t be.” Says Gikwang. Same condition? No. I am fine. And did Gikwang just said father to my dad?

“ No no no this can’t be happening to her. Tell him to save her, do something please tell him Gikwang, Doctor do you understand? Please save my daughter.” I hear him cry. I use all my strength to open my eyes and I can see their figures blurry.

“ Daddy ?” I whisper but they don’t hear me.

“ Gikwangshi” I say it a bit louder.

“ Oh my god Baby, can you hear me? are you hurting anywhere? Baby don’t do this to me again. I swear if anything was to happen to you I wouldn’t live without you, you know that.” he says crying but smiling at the same time while holding my hand.

“I am sorry Kiki; I didn’t mean to worry you. What happened? Daddy, what’s wrong with me?” I ask and they all look at each other.

“ Love, there is nothing wrong with you, you were just stressed out that’s why you collapsed, right Gikwang?” he looks at Gikwang and he blanks out a little bit. That’s when I know they are lying.

“ Ah yeah that’s why. You are fine baby. You will be fine I promise you.” he says and I decide to go along with their lie even though I heard everything.

“ Ok…Can I go home now if I am fine and there is nothing wrong with me?” I ask sarcastically.

“ No ofcourse not! “ my dad screams all of the sudden and looks a bit shocked at his own reaction.

“What he means is that, because you collapsed you need to stay for a few days, right Mr Watson?” says Doojoon giving them a look.

“ Yes ofcourse that’s what I meant.” My dad says awkwardly. I look into Gikwang’s eyes and he looks at me with such a worrying expression, I feel like crying but he smiles kissing my forehead. “ I love you no matter what happens do you hear me?” he whispers into my lips.

After a week

“ WELCOME HOME MELINAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!” all of the members scream with partying equipment as soon as Melina and Gikwang enter the house.

“ Oh my god you guys scared me! do you want me to go back to the hospital? Hahaha” says Melina with a laugh.

“ No ofocurse not! Now let the celebration begin!!!” screams Dongwoon jumping around with Yoseob.

“ You two always find something to celebrate” says Gikwang laughing and shaking his head.

“ Thank you for always being there for me. You guys are my family now. I am the luckiest girl in the world.”

“ Ofcourse you are! Do you know how many B2utys out there want to be here? Ahhh I wish we could have them all here.” Says Doojoon.

“ Hey what do you mean they are your family? Don’t forget me? I am still here too you silly girl, have you seen the flowers b2utys sent to you? ” says Melina’s dad walking in with her bag.

“ How can I forget you dad? I have seen them and I don’t know how to thank them.”

The happy scene of the dorm seems perfect without them realising what is Melina thinking to do not to worry them anymore….
