Filming after filming, moving from one location to another, from one building to another, and finally U-KISS were at their last schedule. They had to do a photoshoot for a spread in a Japanese magazine and it included an interview recorded on video.

Kiseop rested his tired body at a chair behind the staff working, as he waited for his turn to do his individual interview shooting. It was Eli’s turn to do the interview and after the rapper there were still Dongho, Hoonmin, Kevin, then it would be his turn. Kiseop let out a yawn, exhausted from the packed-up schedule he had to go through that day. He slumped on his seat, taking small sips of the energy drink in his hold.

Now alone and relaxed, Kiseop’s mind began to wander once again. It was afternoon already but yet a single prank was done to him. There was no bathroom mishaps, no surprise presents, no fake joke cakes, nothing. Instead, many congratulated him, many gave him pretty gifts, many wished him all the best, and the show staff from the previous filming schedule even ordered a tasty cake for him and he celebrated with the members and the staff on spot. Kiseop began to think that perhaps this year, that this birthday, the members have stopped. Perhaps they ran out of ideas of pranks. Perhaps their conscience took the best of them and they decided to stop making people miserable on what is supposed to be one of the best days of the year. Perhaps they were too focused on preparing their Japanese debut that they even forgot to plan their annual birthday pranks. Perhaps Kiseop would have a peaceful birthday after all.

But… Really? It felt so unlike U-KISS to have a birthday without pranks. There had to be something going on. This must have been part of their plan, to make Kiseop think that they weren’t up to something before attacking him all of a sudden. Ohoho, aren’t they sneaky. Too bad Kiseop was ready for them.

“You’re deep into thoughts.”

The dancer snapped back to reality when he heard that low, edgy voice by his ear; a pair of arms snaking around him and warm breath ghosting on his neck. Startled, Kiseop placed the empty energy drink bottle on a small table beside him. The dancer then turned around to see Jaeseop resting his chin on the former’s shoulder, the usual mischievous smirk plastered on the rapper’s lips.

“Happy birthday.” Jaeseop pecked Kiseop lightly on the cheek, before pulling him into a kiss. The elder mumbled something to protest over his boyfriend’s PDA, but later gave in to the kiss.

The two boys had started going out not long after after Jaeseop joined the team. The younger of the two had claimed it to be ‘love at first sight’ (Kiseop always finds himself rolling his eyes at Jaeseop’s cheesiness), but everyone kind of guessed they would end up together (the members even made a bet on how long it would take for them to finally date each other—Kevin won, like always). Kiseop had been highly supportive to Jaeseop ever since the first day they met, always encouraging him and cheering on him, it was no wonder that Jaeseop would fall for the elder. Jaeseop confessed when they were composing their duet and they have been going steady since then. And now here they were.

Kiseop pushed the other away, making sure that the kiss was short, or else it would ruin his make-up and he would get scolded by the make-up noona and an angry make-up noona was never good. They parted, and Kiseop immediately grabbed a mirror to check his look, pouting slightly as he grazed over his slightly swollen lips. Jaeseop had a content smile on his face as he watched his lover sulk silently.

“Say, are you doing anything tonight after the schedule?” Jaeseop asked, arms tightening around the other. “Cause I’d like to give my gift to birthday boy.” He added.

Kiseop perked up. “What gift?” His eyes sparkled in curiosity as he put the mirror away.

A smirk found its way to the rapper’s lips. “You’ll see.” He teased. “Trust me, it’s something special.” He whispered the last sentence right into the elder’s ear. His fingers traced the silver chain of the necklace around Kiseop’s neck, before they found its way to the cross-shaped pendant on the dip of Kiseop’s collarbone. He played with it, enjoying the feel of the cold metal against his skin.

Kiseop stared at the younger boy’s busy fingers. “I’ll probably be reading fan letters later.” The dancer finally answered to the long forgotten question. He rubbed his boyfriend’s hand, before pulling it away from the pendant and then lacing it together with his own hand, loving how their fingers just fit perfectly with each other. Jaeseop squeezed the elder’s hand.

“See you soon then.” He uttered, planting one last wet kiss on his lover’s cheek before standing up and walking away. Kiseop let out a sigh, anticipation building up in him at knowing he would obtain a present, a special one, from his beloved boyfriend. He began to twiddle with the pendant, unconsciously copying Jaeseop’s actions before.

Somehow, Kiseop was unable to stop his lips from spreading into a blissful grin.

Umm I have a few questions I’d like you to answer… Firstly, you guys all pretty much know about how I said this is Kiseop/Everyone, and I’m wondering if you’d like “everyone” to include Kibum and Xander or not. My original plan was not to include them, but I’ve been re-thinking about it and I thought maybe I should put them in. What do you think?

Secondly, if you've read my 2Seop oneshot, you might know from my author’s note that I said I might be making a 2Seop fic based on A Shared Dream/Forbidden Love MV. Well I originally was going to make it an ElVin-SooHoon-2Seop fic, but now thinking about it, I’m considering to make it only 2Seop-centric. What should I do? Tell me about your opinion!
