She was a princess. She was graceful, charming, and beautiful. Her manners were flawless. She could converse in three different languages and knew a great deal about many different subjects. She could play the piano with a skill beyond her age. She had many advantages others did not. She had the best of everything.


But with all that came a big responsibility. Her burden was a heavy one. She had many duties to fulfill and many things were expected of her. She was constantly watched. Sometimes she felt so smothered. It was if even breathing was hard to do.


She wanted space. She wanted to find herself. She wanted, no she needed to get away.
