This was inspired by Strong Woman Dong Bong.  I took some elements of the story and am changing it up a little bit.

Plot: Candice King did not have a good start in life and neither did Cole King.  Both abandoned by their families for something out of their control, the orphanage life was all the knew for two years.  They soon find themselves whisked away across the Atlantic Ocean to South Korea in the Dobong-dong disctrict.  They were welcomed by the owners of a bar; Hwang Jin-yi and her husband Do Chil-goo.  

Why would a blonde American girl and brunette American boy be taken in by a couple in South Korea and not raised by their own family? Candice King was born with psychokinetics, the abilty to move things with her mind. Her "gift" (as her grandma calls it) is hereditary and passed along to every other generation in the family.  So, growing up as an American girl who happens to be able to move things with her mind in South Korea can be a bit challenging.  Especially, when it comes to things like relationships.  Her crush on her friend In Gook-Du has lasted since she met him in middle school.  But now as an adult looking for a job to draw manhwa, she tries to keep her life psychokinetic free as possible. 

This dream of drawing alows her to meet CEO of Mantrix, Inc, the biggest manhwa selling company in South Korea, Park Hyung-Sik.  He is an arrogant, self-centered, handsome young man who hates policeman and rules.  He has also been receiving threats via phone and computer all the while being stalked.  Which leads to Min-Hyuk hiring her as his bodyguard. She is to use her powers to keep him safe, with a promise to work as an author for his company in the future.

However, in light of recent murders of high school females happening in her neighbor, and her best friend being attacked, she attempts to help Gook-Du find the culprit.  Along the way she learns to accept who she is and evenually finds herself stuck between her childhood crush and her arrogant, handsome boss.
