I walked into the club's building, feeling uneasy. Why did Seohyun have to take it that far? Ani.. Yong.. You're the one who took it too far. See what you got yourself into? Aish.. I heard a ringing in the back of my ear, and I winced. "Ah.. Why's the music on so loud in there?" I asked outloud, walking up to the door. I peeked to see someone dancing. I grinned as I heard the song. I hummed to the song, which was: Satisfaction Remix. I grinned, watching the girl dance. She seemed.. mad.. It seemed like she was taking her anger out of the dance. I watched as the girl spun around, and bent down to grab her water bottle. I widened my eyes. Shinhye? That was Shinhye dancing? I laughed, and hit my head. I should have came and watched her dance when she had offered me, on the first day of our relationship. I grinned. We bicked alot in the beginning. I smiled sadly, and looked down. It's all over. We're not together, anymore. She then started dancing again. I gawked, mesmerized. Sexy, beautiful, and adorable. How can someone be all three, at the same time?
She spun around, letting her body take over her. Her eyes met mine, and she scoffed. She walked over to the door, and opened it. "What are you doing here?"
I bit my lip, and looked around. I panicked, and rubbed the back of my neck. "Um.."
"Do you like how I dance?" she asked.
"Then you should've watched me when I first asked you."
"I know." I admitted, feeling foolish.
She turned around, and wiped her forehead with the rag that was hanging over her shoulder.
"Can I come in?" I asked, sheepishly.
"Why should I let you?" she asked me, narrowing her eyes. "You betrayed me." she said, matter-of-factly.
I winced, feeling someone punch my heart. "I.. I did-" I stopped myself, and frowned. If I told her, Seohyun would tell her.. If I told her, it wouldn't be as bad, right? Instead of hearing from someone rather than the culprit? I shook my head, and mentally shot myself. "I'm sorry." I looked down, then back at her.
She smirked, and rolled her eyes. "I should've known it was going to come down to this."
"You don't seem hurt.." I observed, looking into her eyes.
She avoided eye contact, but still looked at me. "I am hurt, Jung Yong Hwa. You are the origin of my despondency. I'm very hurt. I want to burn you, and throw your ashes in dog's poop." she muttered, glaring at me.
"I.. I'm sorry." I chuckled softly in my mind. Dog's poop? But.. Yong.. She's mad. She'll never, ever, forgive you.
"You best go now," she insisted, and closed the door on my face.
"Ne.." I replied to the door, and sighed softly. I walked away, feeling a hundred arrows being shot at me. Even though I witnessed her sexy dancing, and she even talked to me; I felt incomplete. I knew she wasn't enjoying conversing with me. Hell, she just first-hand saw Seohyun kiss me. And I kissed back! I had no idea what I was thinking.. But, I'm a man.
I found myself to be more.. more rebel towards him. I smirked more often. I barely laughed and smiled. I guess this is what a relationship does to you, right?
I sat in class, admiring the trees from the window. I looked to my right to see Yonghwa sit next to me. I let my sadness and anger go. I would just be rough, and hard to get. That's what they call it, right? It's just something new for me. Well.. A new personality only for the rotten, Jung Yong Hwa.
"Yonghwa-ya.. You have the audacity to sit next to me?" I asked, raising my just threadded eyebrows.
I watched as his face turn pale, and his hands tremble. "I just.. I.."
"Quit it, go sit in your seat up front." With my harsh words, he obeyed. I rolled my eyes, but then softened them as he sat down in the front. "Mianhae, Yonghwa.." I whispered softly, grabbing my chest. "It still hurts.. here. The best I can do is disguise it." I whispered again, knowing that only I could hear myself.
With that, I watched at Seohyun skipped into the room. She smiled as her eyes laid on Yonghwa. "Oppa~" she giggled, and covered her mouth. "Oops, I mean.. Jagiya~" she cooed.
My jaw dropped, and I felt the air hit my warm, moistured lips. My eyes uncontrollably darted from left to right, trying to look at anything--but the newly formed couple. I took in a deep hiss, feeling a ton of bricks fall at my chest. My lips met each other again, quivering. I took another deep breath. "Is my heart this heavy?" I asked myself, taking another deep breath. I grabbed where my heart would be, and shut my eyes tightly. "STOP!" I screamed, breathing more heavily now. I felt as if someone pulled the plug on me.. It didn't feel good, at all. I looked down at the old desk, and gasped loudly. I picked my head up to see everyone look at me. I close my eyes, and tried to breath. My eyes popped open when I couldn't access air. I shut my eyes tightly, not knowing that my mouth was shut so tightly, due to the discovery that my ex and my... eonnie... dating.. I already felt everyone's body heat as they crowded around me. I started shaking--my whole body shaked as my hands trembled. I felt my head and my body hit the cold, hard pavement. I shut my eyes tightly, trying to endure the sting of the hard fall. My hands were balled into fists, sweat keeping them locked together. I felt tears in my eyes forming as I gasped for air. I tried to open my eyes, but I only saw a little amount of sunlight that shone in through the window. I shut my eyes tightly, the light blinding me. I felt arms pick me up, and some shaking me. I clenched my fists tighter, trying to gasp for air.
"An inhaler, get one!"
"Does she have asthma?!"
"Call.. Call the teacher!"
"Get the nurse!"
"Get an inhaler!"
"HURRY UP! GET AN AMBULANCE!"
I heard various voices scream, and mumble those incoherant words that I--magically--understood. Although one voice.. once voice stuck out. I understood it perfectly. "Shinhye.. Please.. I don't care if I never be with you again, just hold in there." he choked out, sobs breaking in between words.
Jonghyun ran in after hearing all of the commotion. Heck, he was just in the next door classroom. His eyes widened when he saw Shinhye lying on the floor, and everyone crowding around her. He panicked, and pushed everyone out of the way. "MOVE!" he yelled, and even pushed Yonghwa away from her. He laid Shinhye on the floor softly, and shut his eyes. He didn't want his vision to get blurry right now.. not in this important, life or death situation. He didn't even have to check if she was breathing or not. He knew by everyone's horrified screams that she wasn't. He watched as her eyes were close to closing fully, almost blacking out. He pressed his hands on her chest, ignoring his sexual thoughts. He pressed down five centimeters deep continuously, then checked to see if it was beneficial. He ignored all of the worried people around him, and continued to try to save her. He frowned, and his whole body trembled. "SHINHYE! STAY WITH ME!" he yelled as he pressed against her chest again. He parted her lips and forced air in. He let his tears drop down on her cheeks. His eyes widened when she started to cough. He looked up, and thanks the God's. He picked her up in his arms, and held her close. "You're safe.. You're safe, Shinhye." he whispered in her ear, and smiled sadly as tears continuously streamed down.
She coughed harder, and felt relieved that air had finally been accessible. She looked up at Jonghyun, and hugged him tight, letting her arms go limp around his neck. She felt weak, and scared. "J-Jonghyun.." she called his name out softly, her breaths fast and short.
"Shinhye, you're okay now.." he whispered, assuring her again. He rubbed her back softly, holding her tight. "Don't you ever.. ever scare me like that again, arasso?"
She nodded a little, and let her head rest on his shoulder.
"Should I carry you somewhere?"
He stood up, and carried her to the infirmary. He stroked her soft, brown hair softly, and laid her on the bed. "Nurse Jung.. She.. I think.. I.." he cleared his throat, and smiled embarassingly. "She had trouble breathing, but I did CPR. It worked." he smiled, holding Shinhye's hand. "Can you make sure everything else is okay? I'm worried.."
The nurse nodded, and thanked him for his heroic move. "You can leave now."
"I.. Is it alright if I stay with her here? I want to take her home. You know, just in case." he rubbed the back of his neck as he choke out the words.
"Ah.. Yeah, that's okay, dear." He sat over in a chair, watching the nurse check all different kind of stuff. "Shinhye, did you fall?"
She looked at the ground, in deep thought. "Um.."
"When I arrived, she was on the ground.. So, I guess she did." he answered for her. She smiled gratefully at him, nodding a little, indicating a silent 'thank you'.
The nurse nodded, and put her finger on her chin. "Let me check for bruises, then." She lifted Shinhye's shirt, and scanned her body.
"OH MY GOODNESS.." Jonghyun exclaimed, and quickly turned around. He rubbed the back of his neck furiously, and his cheeks were turning a dark shade of red. He shut his eyes tightly, and did breathing exersises. "Y-Y-You could've warned me to t-turn around, Nurse Jung.."
The nurse laughed softly, still checking for bruises. Shinhye's eyes widened, and she burst into laughter. "Jonghyun-ah," she laughed again, her stomach starting to hurt. "it's not like you saw anything." she told him, and rolled her eyes.
"I saw your skin! Your soft.. skin!!" he argued, his face never returning it's color. He remembered when his hands were on her chest, pressing against them. He bit his lip hard, and let out a frustrated groan. "I am a g-g-grown man!!" he exclaimed, facing the wall.
Shinhye's eyes were smiling, and she was pounding her hand on the bed as she laughed her hardest. "Omo.. Jonghyun.. Ha ha ha!"
He grinned as he heard her melodious laugh, letting it sink in. "She even laughs beautifully." he stated, making a list of: Shinhye's beautiful-ness in his head. He had a long list.
"Ha ha ha ha ha~" she continued to laugh, even when he was walking her home.
"Shinhye-ya, quit it! I was just protecting your woman.. ness!" he fought back, glaring at her.
She smiled, and patted him on the back. "Ah, Jonghyun-ah.. You made me feel better, gomawo." she admitted, smiling sincerely. She stopped him from walking any further, and pulled him into a warm hug. "Was it you that was saving me? While everyone else just stood there?" she asked, whispering in his ear.
He smiled, letting her warmness seep in. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "Ne." he smiled proudly, and rubbed her back.
"Then you obliviously kissed me, and touched my chest, huh?" she whispered softly, a hint of her teasings lingering in her smooth, warm voice.
"YA!!!" he pushed her away, shooting her a look.
She grinned, and started to laugh again. "Omo, look.. The calm Jonghyun is fiery and embarassed!" she pointed out, holding her stomach. " Ahaha! Stop it, Jonghyun-ah! You're too.. too funny." she wiped a tear at the corner of her eye as Jonghyun glared at her. "Ya.." she smiled, and held his hands, standing in front of him. "I'm really grateful you saved me. Thanks to you, I don't have to go to the hospital. I'm really, really thankful, Jonghyun-ah." she smiled sincerely, and pulled on his hand softly, making him stumble foreward. She tip-toed, and kissed his cheek softly as he fell toward her. "Gomawo." She put his hands on his broad shoulders, and straightened him up. She let her arm drop, and her other arm drop, too. Only that arm's hand was holding onto his.
With Shinhye's grateful attitude, and blushing; he was complete. With Jonghyun's tomato red face, and bug-eyed eyes, they walked to her house. They both had no idea what they were getting into, but it felt right.. As of right now, at least.
Omo.. It looks like I have people who want Shinhye to end up with Jonghyun, eh? Heheh.
