Chapter 11

Their sweet moments passed rather quickly, it was already the end of their two weeks. Shinhye had grown close to him. She knew his favorite colors, foods, and girl--he was so cheesy sometimes, it was cute. He'd often crack a joke--that wasn't funny at all. Still, she would giggle at his lame attempt to make her laugh. It was his own mistakes, and his embarassment that amused her the most. She held back a little with their relationship, though. He couldn't quite figure out what was wrong, but he was sure it had to do with Seohyun. Although her words affected Shinhye slightly, they never really got in the way. It just bothered her slightly. At the end of their two weeks, they felt as if they'd been together for months.

Yonghwa knew it was closing time, and he sweat buckets from being so nervous. On the other hand, Shinhye wasn't. She slept peacefully at night, 'cause it didn't bother her. She knew that they'd stay together forever and ever and ever.

"Ya!" Minhyuk exclaimed rather loudly, after being attacked by a football. He looked around, and his eyes stopped at Yonghwa who was whistling. He narrowed his eyes. "Yonghwa-ya!" he charged towards him while yelling his name, tackling him to the ground.

Yonghwa laughed, and pushed Minhyuk away. "Minhyuk-ah," he stopped, laughing again as he recalled his friend's clueless look when he was hit with the football. "you were so oblivious." he laughed again, but smiling sincerely.

Minhyuk nodded, and shrugged. "I can't help it!" he pouted, and grinned at his good friend's sincere smile. He knew that was his way of apologizing, since Yonghwa never liked to apologize with the actual words. He nodded again, indicating he was accepting his apology. "Hyung, where's Shinhye?" He looked down, and muttered very softly, "The girl you stole from me.."

"Ya!" Yonghwa hit him on the back, feeling a pain of guilt strike him.

"Kekeke~" Minhyuk smiled, and faced him. "It's okay, I got over it." he stated, and smiled to assure him.

Yonghwa sighed in relief, "Aissssh! You know how bad I felt?" He grinned, and smiled softly. "Even though, I wouldn't have let her go, even if it was for you."

"HYUNG! I can't believe this.. this tragedy! Picking a girl over me!" he said loudy, stretching out his vowels. He acted as if he was the lead in a very dramatic way.

"Ani! Just.. I wouldn't give her up!" he pushed out the words, trying to make it clear to Minhyuk. He panicked. He rubbed the back of his neck, "Well, I just really.. really like Shinhye, you know? I wouldn't.. I wouldn't give up my feelings for her. I'd help you.. You know, hook up with girls! You get it?" he looked with pleading eyes at him, and then got on his knees. "Minhyuk-ssi, please forgive me!"

Minhyuk burst out in laughter, "Hyung.. I can't tell if you were playing along in the 'play' with me, or if you were actually serious.."

"Ah! The play.. It was the play.." he choked out, laying his hand on the band of his neck. His cheeks turned red. "I just embaressed myself, didn't I?" He laughed weakly, and tackled Minhyuk to the ground again. "Payback!"

Seohyun stepped up to the two boys horsing around, letting her heel make a obvious 'clack' noise to alert them that she was there. The two boys looked up at her, their hair completely out of place. She giggled softly, and reached her hand out. "Get up," she said, forcing her voice to sound soothing.

Minhyuk took her hand, and grinned. "Annyeong, noona~"

She looked at him, and pulled her hand away. She wiped it on her skirt, and reached her hand out again. "This hand," making eye-contact with both of them. "was for Yong. Mianhae, little boy."

Yonghwa slapped her hand away, and stood up by himself, pulling Minhyuk up with him. "Ya! Why are you talking to him like that?" he questioned her harshly. He watched as she stood there, speechless. Therefore, he continued, letting out his anger on behalf of Shinhye. "I know you said something to Shinhye, I just know it.." he announced, narrowing his eyes at her.

"Yong, I didn't say anything ba-"

"Sh!" he put his finger to his lips, making the shh~ noise. He shook his head in dissapointment. "Are you trying to break us up? Hm?"

She shook her head, and took a step closer to him. "Yong.. What would people say about you getting married to Shinhye? Getting married because of a dating game? Hm?" She inhaled his scent, and smirked. "They would think that you're immensly low for meeting the girl on a match-making game.." she trailed off, letting his thoughts emerge. She smiled warmly at him, and let her hand linger on his cheek, slowly trailing down to his arm. "Yong.." she called out his name slowly and softly, letting her breath hit his neck delicately. "I don't think I could live with that.. Could you? You've been with her for two weeks. It was a game. For crying out loud, a game.. You randomly got paired up with her! It's not like you guys are a match made in Heaven." she rolled her eyes, and once again, stepped closer to him. "I don't think you should continue dating after this day," she whispered, biting her lip as a sea of guilt drowned her. She pushed it away with a smirk. She gazed into Yonghwa's eyes, then laughed softly. "Yong, what do you see in her? Beauty?" she brought her hair over her should, and scoffed. "I have beauty, you know?" she shook her head, and went straight to the point. "You should break up with her." she repeated. "And then.. date her again. Break up with her, wait a couple of weeks, and then date her again." she smiled slyly, she knew it all made sense into his head. His pride was number one, if not number one.. Under Shinhye as number two. "But the catch is.." she trailed off, wanting him to yearn for her so-called 'advice'.

"..is?" he looked at her, everything clicked in his mind.

She smirked, "Deja vu.. but it was with Shinhye.. Kekeke~" she evily thought. "You can't tell Shinhye." she grinned, but quickly forced it away.

"Wae?!" he whisper-yelled, feeling furious. "Why can't I tell her? She might misunderstand.. and.. and possibly might not get back together with me.."

She made noises on her heels on the pavement ground, and shrugged her shoulders. "That's just how it is, Yong." She turned to Minhyuk, who was standing there next to Yonghwa, his head tilted--like a dog's. She spun around on her heels, and walked off. She smiled in sucess, and flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Foolish.. foolish boy." she whispered to herself. Her heart started thumping excitedly, fantasizing about her new love life that would be emerging soon with Yonghwa.
