~Y/N's POV~

Today was the 7th year I'm with my brothers Shownu, Wonho, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Minhyuk, Jooheon, and I.M. Lately I've been noticing something, I could feel their emotions, I could read their thoughts and one that terrifies them was that... their father was coming over after such a long time with I.M's mother and the rest's adopted mother. I was confused, all I knew according to their thoughts was that he was a strict man and that he doesn't accept strangers that easily.

"So what if he's coming over?" I asked them when we were having Dinner in the early morning.

"He won't accept you as part of our creation, he loathes strangers, or should I say, intruders?" Shownu told me. His memories of an old friend popped up, a little girl who he used to play with. His father killed the lost girl and feasted on her blood and burned her afterward.

A shiver ran down my spine, "What do you want me to do then?"

"I want you to stay away from here as far as you can, we'll cover your scent," Shownu hugged me tightly.

"He's a tracker?" I asked.

"The best tracker among us vampires..." Kihyun muttered.

I saw in Kihyun's memories how he was paid to kill vampire hunters by breaking their bones and then bringing them home to the bathroom to bathe in their blood or drink their blood. I felt sick, and all of my brothers looked at me with concern.

"Are you okay?" I.M asked.

"No, I'm not..." I told him.

"Geez, Y/N what powers do you have? You were reborn just yesterday and now we're curious as to know what are your powers," Wonho smirked.

"It's not very pleasant, I'll tell you that much..." I muttered, but I knew he heard me.

"Let's go, bring your clothes, we're taking you far away from here," Minhyuk held my hand and led me to my room along with Jooheon and Hyungwon behind us.

I could feel their anxiety with my non-beating heart and deep in my soul. It was too stressful since I'm only 1 day old of being a vampire... My dear brothers, is he really that bad?

I felt a sudden mood swing, someone from afar was coming.

~Third Person's POV~

Monsta X's father and mother wanted to surprise their children. They haven't seen them for nearly 15 years, not a very long time for them. They sent a letter that he was coming, he wanted to see his beloved children once more. His pride, his heirs. They all possessed a gift each, and he was hella glad his seeds were useful. 

The driver parked the limousine in front of the mansion and with the vampire speed opened the door of his Lord and his Lady, bowing while holding his hand out to help them both get off the limousine off safely.

"Ah, such a refreshing trip, don't you think honey?" the man asked his last wife.

"Surely honey, I can't wait to see our son I.M and the rest! They must have missed us too!" she smiled sweetly at her husband.

"You bet they did," he nodded and grabbed her hand and led her to the entrance of the door.

The doors opened and they were greeted by 4 of their sons; I.M, Hyungwon, Shownu, and Kihyun. They smiled widely as they went to hug their father and mother. They were distracting their parents from the absence of Wonho, Minhyuk, and Jooheon who were helping Y/N to hide her tracks and run with her brothers to a secret place where they all went swimming and underwater there was a cave that has phosphorescent rocks and minerals, mesmerizing anyone who found the secret place on the river nearby them.

"Stay here until one of us comes and gets you," Wonho told Y/N as he put down her bag of clothes.

"Am I allowed to at least hunt meanwhile I'm here?" Y/N asked.

"Hunt fish, they don't have enough blood, but it's something," Wonho told Y/N.

"For how long will he stay?" Y/N asked.

"We don't know yet..." Wonho told her.

Minhyuk and Jooheon put down her bags of dresses and some shoes she had. They left everything empty in her room just in case their father wanted to check all the rooms and if he found a girl's clothes and belongings, he would hunt her down for being an intruder and for putting in danger his own family.

He didn't trust either people or vampires until they have proven to be of trust. Or... if they got to live long enough for that at least.

"Please take care and use your powers to keep yourself safe, if our father finds out about your existence, he is more than capable of killing you under our noses. One of us will keep you informed of what happens, okay? We love you Y/N," Wonho told Y/N and gave me a huge hug, slightly squeezing her.

She hugged Jooheon and Minhyuk and they left her there, mesmerized by the cave and how beautiful it looked. She used her senses to feel her surroundings, even the ones above her. She felt somewhat dizzy, it was her first time, after all, making an invisible field of movements of her surroundings. She wasn't used to it yet.

~Shownu's POV~

"Where are Wonho, Jooheon, and Minhyuk?" our father asked.

"They went out hunting for some deer," I smiled widely at him and he believed me.

"Oh, alright, so... How have my children behaved?" he asked.

"As always, good but a bit mischievous," I.M answered.

"Yah, you kept waking me up you little ball of energy!" Hyungwon lightly ruffled I.M's hair as he chuckled.

"What do you want me to do? Is it my fault that you're always busy sleeping the day and night away?" I.M protested.

"Hello, brothers we are- DAD?! IS THAT YOU?!" Wonho acted surprised and smiled widely.

"Hoseok, my son, how are you my boy?" dad gave him a one arm hug and patted his back while Wonho's other shoulder had a deer at hand, it was good he hunted.

Dad stayed for a week, and knowing how Vampires get thirsty, I knew Y/N would be burning with the lack of blood. Fishes don't have much blood and a newborn vampire needs plenty. She might already have finished all of them. After we made sure dad was far away, I rushed to get to that secret hideout and dived into the water, I then swam my way to the secret cave and found her there, holding to for dear life.

"Oh, my gosh Y/N are you alright?!" I asked her.

Her eyes turned blood red completely, that was bad, she was starving and she was keeping her sanity for dear sake. I hugged her and I could read her mind, it was filled with scary voices calling and needing blood. She was blacking out, this was bad. I hurriedly carried her and dove into the water. I then rest her weak body carefully on the ground and found squirrels and raccoons around me, I killed as much of them as I could and returned at the speed of light. Her eyes were turning mahogany. I quickly opened and pressed her sharp fangs hard on the skin of the animals. She slowly on them and when she gained enough strength, she grabbed them herself and fed herself.

"Oh, my gosh, thank you. I didn't know what to do since none of you returned to tell me what was going on. I tried to read your minds, but it was too far away. I thought of getting out since I ran out of fish, but then I remembered what you told me about your father so I stayed here. I am so sorry, but I did my best to do as you asked me and not went out once. I am so sorry-" I chuckled and hugged her.

"I'm the one who should be apologizing. I kept you here for so long without giving you any news. You're a newborn vampire, you get hungry quickly. And if that hunger is not satisfied, it's very dangerous. Just like right now, if I didn't feed you before you passed out, it would have been your definite death. That is why there isn't much hunt in here, we try not to kill so much in one week, but then Wonho and the others get hungry as well as me. That's why I have to go a far distance in order to hunt, we hunt big animals since we're 8 now. Finding a huge bear is just pure luck, but that is just so rare," I explained to her.

"It's alright, I'm hungry but just slightly. Have you hunted for the others yet?" I asked.

He hung his head low. "We've been busy with our appa, so I didn't have time since he wanted to spend as much time with us as possible before he left to his business again."

"What kind of job does your father have?" she asked with pure curiosity. I just let her see the images in my mind, she stared at a distant as she focused on the memories and voices I've heard of those vampires who begged for mercy, but were slaughtered mercilessly. Those vampires killed humans way too much, and humans were noticing. My father hunted them down and burned them to ashes. Y/N shivered slightly and I hugged her again.

"I won't let that happen to you, you can control yourself better than any other newborn vampire I've met. You're calm and composed to the near death. Damn, how did you learn self-control?" I asked her.

"I don't know, I guess I was afraid of disappointing you guys. I don't want you guys to doubt me, I want you guys to trust me. I know that it will be hard since I'm new to this life, but with you guys, it might be a little easier for me since you've been vampires ever since birth. You're half-vampires, not complete ones. So if I learn from you guys, it will be a little easy for me... I think. I'm not sure," she giggled as we head back home.

DO NOT COME! I heard Wonho shout at me telepathically. GO WITH Y/N BACK TO THE LAKE AND PRETEND THAT YOU'RE TAKING A SPLASH! NOW!

I grabbed her wrist and I could feel dad's mind smelling Y/N's scent. He was chasing after us. I tried my best to be faster, but eventually, his thoughts grew louder and angrier when he saw me with Y/N.

LET THE GIRL GO SHOWNU! SHE IS A NEWBORN! SHE WILL KILL AND CAUSE A LOT OF TROUBLE! Appa scolded me.

I could sense Changkyun, Minhyuk, Wonho, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and Kihyun behind him, trying to catch up to him. I then decided to carry her on my back and dashed as fast as I could go. I then turn her in front of me because she was screaming that someone was trying to catch her by the hair. I then went faster until I jumped to the other side of the small pond. I then went passed the limit of the pond, I heard the river nearby. I knew this part, there was a waterfall at the end and it would be a great chance of losing him there since it's water, he can't breathe water since all other odors of the water would fill and confuse his sense of scent. I saw the end of the river and jumped the waterfall below us as we fell on to it. Luckily, there weren't any sharp rocks when I fell inside with Y/N in my arms. We both swam to the edge and we heard another splash, we rushed and started running again.

Y/N suddenly stopped. I looked back and returned to her, I looked at her and her eyes were looking pained as if she wanted to cry. I looked at her back in confusion and looked at her face. Her mind showed me she was thinking of letting father catch up with us and talk to him, to convince him that she was different. I wanted to cry, but no tears came. I knew that my father was stubborn, if he saw something black even though it was white, it was black.

I hugged her tightly, kneeling at the thought of losing her would be so unbearable. She hugged me tightly, knowing my thoughts as well. We then heard a rustling of leaves in the distance and she helped me up to my feet. We waited for 3 seconds and my father was in front of us, I could hear my brothers' fainted screams in their thoughts.

"How dare you keep this from your father Shownu?! I thought you were a good son!" he shouted angrily at me.

"It's not  his fault sir!" Y/N told him, her voice shook a little when she spoke.

"I was not talking to you, peasant!" my father shot back at her.

"Please, listen to me," she begged.

Somehow, my father stiffened and listened to every single word she had to say until the end, he relaxed and glared at her.

"So you control bodies and command them, don't you?" my father noted. "You're too dangerous to live. You shouldn't even exist!"

"STOP!" she commanded.

He stopped in his tracks, her eyes glowed (Fave color). She might be a newborn, but she controlled her abilities to perfection. I was surprised that she had this ability, not many vampires are lucky to have more than one ability, it was just rare. She talked again and this time, he finally gave up.

"Fine, but Shownu, if something goes wrong... you'll be responsible to kill her yourself alongside with your brothers. You guys created her, you solve your problem. Got it son?" my father looked calm, but I knew he meant real business.

"Yes, father. We will take full responsibility," I bowed and we surprised the others that father was walking side by side with us. Our father got to know YN better and eventually called her his own daughter, my mother was surprised to see how much we hunted and the new 'company' we had. She immediately ran towards Y/N and hugged her tightly.

"It was about time a girl joined the family!" she giggled and my father gasped.

"Did you want a daughter and NEVER TOLD ME?!" my father scolded her.

"I was afraid you would say no," she told him as she hugged his neck.

"I would never say no to you honey, you know I would do anything for you," he kissed her forehead and Y/N smiled sweetly at them.

"So... can I call you Umma and Appa now, or not yet?" she asked politely.

My father was thinking yes but decided not to answer out loud, my mother then hit his chest and he chuckled. "Yes you can honey, you can call us Appa and Umma," my father smiled at her sweetly and hugged her.

Ever since then, we lived like a 'normal' family. My mother's relatives would come to our Christmas and exchange presents with each other. We didn't have to hide Y/N anymore, she was out of the shadows. It was nice to relax and watch TV laying on the couch with family. But the best part was that... Y/N was officially part of our family. We gave her a nickname since them. We called her...
