Honestly everyone thinks Daehyun is the awkward one around Yongguk, but Youngjae is secretly awkward around Yongguk too. He just covers it up with his sass and loudness. However there is also comfort, warmth, and admiration mixed with the awkwardness that makes it all the more complicated.

That time in "Killing Camp" when he was asked who should get off the bus with him, Youngjae initially kept choosing Daehyun instead because it was a bit overwhelming to be with Yongguk.

Youngjae admires and respects Yongguk, but also finds him a bit overwhelming for some reason. He can't really say it's because of the age difference and the hyung/dongsaeng relationship because he is perfectly fine with Himchan. There was something about Yongguk. 

When the manager asked if anyone wanted to go out in both Italy and L.A., Yongguk then Youngjae had raised their hands so they ended up going sightseeing together. Yongguk had such a good time that he even ended up uploading a photo of himself with Youngjae on Instagram when he rarely ever uploads photos with others/members. Youngjae found peace in that photo for some reason he couldn't explain. It had been a good and relaxing day. Yongguk and Youngjae barely talked. They saw a cat, they played with it. They went to stores. They ate fruit together. They just walked around without doing much, but still it was a memorable day. And sometimes when Youngjae felt down, he would go to Yongguk's Instagram and look at that photo and feel at peace.

Yongguk likes Youngjae because unlike himself, Youngjae is lively, bubbly, and smart on his feet. Youngjae is good at listening, which is why when he was asked who he'd talk to at a fansign, Yongguk had named Youngjae.

Because Yongguk was tagged in one of the tweets of fans saying Youngjae talked about him on his V App Lie-V, Yongguk dcided to check out the video to know what exactly Youngjae had said about him, but he ended up watching the whole video.

Most recently during the Celuv.Tv program when Youngjae was asked to do a y dance, Yongguk had to look away and cover his face with his hands because he could not stand Youngjae's y expressions or movements . . . it could be because he was embarassed for Youngjae or because ...it gave him thoughts and feelings about Youngjae that he was unprepared for.
