aliquot is the latin word for several, as in several universes or as you may know, multi-verse. in aliquot, you are able to delve into an innumerable amount of realms: fantasy, realism, science fiction, and idolverse amongst many others as long as you let your creativity run wild. there are no possible limits to the plots you and your fellow writers create; the fate of the journey you embark on is up to your own words.

structure:

there will be two plotting groups: reality for anything amongst city, roommate, apartment, school, etc. themed plots and fantasy for anything supernatural, superhero, magic, demigod, etc. themed.

each member is required to partake in a week-long event every month which serves as an activity check. each event will have a specific theme (e.g.: harry potter, divergent) and each member will have to create a character and a biography accordingly and plot on the event page. 

a plot tracker is also to be required of all members. this is used, by the admins, to keep in attendance active members and it just provides a little bit more oganization for everyone.

guidelines:

1. literacy is taken seriously within our grounds—not everyone has the advantage of english as their first language, nor does everyone have perfect grammar, but we highly encourage all to try their best when constructing a response. however, this does not apply in private messages.

2. content should be substantial—put as much effort as you can into your writing; receiving inadequate replies will sometimes discourage your partners and we want everyone to feel like their endeavors are being reciprocated back. mirroring is okay but do not feel restricted by the amount of sentences or paragraphs that you see; write what you feel.

3. you are not limited as to having only one character—creativity is not restricted within our grounds, thus feel free to be as creative as your mind permits and create as much aliases as you would like. however, only one account is permitted per faceclaim. we would also like you to keep in mind that characters are required to be at least over eighteen years old. 

4. be active at least three times a week and provide a response to any of your plots at least twice a week—we understand that it can be difficult at times to craft a reply, but do not create false expectations of how active you will be. as stated before, you are required to have a public plot tracker in order for us to keep a better eye on your activeness.

5. throroughly read through the structure and guidelines—once finished, the application form is to the left. fill it up accordingly and pm the aff base (aliquot) and wait for approval. reservations last up to 48 hours, but if an extension is needed, please do ask. make sure to set your alt name to your faceclaim and make sure to have "aliquot" somewhere in your bio; this helps us distinguish you. once these have been done, you can proceed to add the admins (links will be provided upon approval).
