Kim Jongin.

It was a name that was heard everywhere. Everyone knew of him. People who didn’t want to date him wanted to be just like him: the epitome of perfection. He would always have a line of people who wanted to date him – after all, he was quite attractive with well-defined features.

To be frank, he initially liked having that attention, but after awhile, he realized it was sort of boring – they were all the same, wanting him because he was so desired by everyone else. It was like a game. If you wanted a way to be in the center of attention, Kim Jongin was the way to it.

That being said, Oh Sehun was quite the outlier. He liked to keep to himself. His looks were rivaled only against Jongin. Sehun was attractive, yes, but he was not one to like attention – especially, not attention from someone like Kim Jongin.

Hell, he didn’t even want to be like Jongin.

Jongin was more than playful, always with a new partner every week, male or female. He always did appear a little too friendly, so people were constantly drawn to him. They were like innocent moths drawn to a dangerous flame. But Sehun was no moth. No, he was serious – seriously straightforward, that is.

He did what he wanted, when he wanted. He didn’t care what people thought about him. He tried to stay blended in with the rest of his classmates, much to his liking, though his success rate was debatable. Many people took him for a loner while others admired him from afar, and he quite liked it that way. There were no disturbances, no drama.

And that’s how Sehun preferred it.

But Jongin had his own thoughts.

A/N: This came to mind recently. I wanted to write something lighter and not as complicated.
It was originally supposed to be a oneshot or a twoshot, but I kind of failed at that haha.
So now it's multichaptered, woo! Not sure how long it will be, but hopefully not too long.
