Park Chorong. December 24, C-day.

Today right when I woke up, I took my phone and texted to Bbom.

It's not like I need to remind her of how important this day is, but it had become a habit to write her every morning.

Besides, today I wouldn't see her all day until night.

I know what it looks like, we look like a real couple.

But I've actually done some research by myself these days. I even asked actors, friends of mine.

If I want this to go well, I must think as if this were real, whathe they call 'getting into character'.

the trick is to remind myself every night before going to sleep that it's all a farce, in order to be able to return to reality, it's like hypnosis and it works, because I’m not uncomfortable with skinship anymore.

There's a problem tho. They warned me that there will be times when I can’t distinguish between the play and the reality.

My true feelings and the fake ones.

But I must sacrifice myself and Bbom is in the same situation.

Sometimes I wonder if there is a remote possibility that we can be together, for real.

This confuses me.

It makes me feel happy, then sad, then silly, then angry.

I better hurry up, Naeun asked me to accompany her to receive a friend at the airport.

Lately we haven’t had time to talk, because I've been fooling around with Bbom. So much like a typical love story.

When someone is in a relationship —apparently, whether it is true or false—, they tend to get away from their friends. I feel a bad for Naeun, but she understands me.

With this kind of things it isn’t difficult to get in character. The problem, I don’t need it until the night.

And now I'll think about how this 'perfect girlfriend / false fiance / friend' of mine will look then. Sh*t.

And I thought I was  plain straight until a few days ago.

Naeun went to pick me up and we headed to the airport.

I'm relieved she did not ask me how I'm doing.

It's Christmas Eve and everything is chaotic in the city. So the airport was.

When we finally found who we were looking for, a tall and beautiful girl with a foreign appearance and a lot of suitcases, we felt the urge to get out of there.

Hayoung was a young videogame programmer who came to visit her grandparents after almost a year out of the country.

The first thing she asked for was eating and it had to be a Korean menu, apparently, she had a bad time with foreign food.

It made me wonder if I will miss all I have here.

I want to get away, but there are people who want to return and even book the flight a year earlier in the most chaotic month of the year. Disregarding to pay much more.

"Hayoung-ah is just some seaweed soup, it's going to hurts later if you eat so fast. I know what I’m talking about" warned Naeun to her friend.
