Ashes to Ashes
Description
Tell me again that there aren't dragons.
Taemin is in his last year of high school, and he and his dragon, Tessitura, hunger for the adventure of their old life, before his father was made a district manager. Now, he's being told that using his dragon in public is rude, that using his dragon in the new house is dangerous, that using his dragon at school is disruptive. But while Taemin's body and mind are imprisoned in this new life he's been placed in, his soul, embodied in his dragon, yearns to be free.
Minho was told to be an adult from the moment his dragon, Cadenza, could breathe his first embers. Since then, he's worked in his father's metal-welding shop, making everything from rails to trinkets from before dawn to after the sun sets. The work is hard, the pay is , but he's drawn to the fire. His wild spirit in Cadenza yearns to fly to the sun, to swallow its flames and finally be free from this life.
On the search for freedom, their dragons manage to find each other, but can their owners push past society's walls and expectations to find the strength to love each other?
Foreword
Trying to tell Taemin "no" is like trying to tell a tree to bow to the wind.
Minho's heart is more embers than flames, until now.
