All Jeongyeon wanted to do is to eat some snacks backstage (with Nabongs tagging behind her as always) before their 5-minute break from rehearsals ended.

And of ALL the time and place in the world they always manage to stumbled with that person. 

Jeongyeon p.o.v: 

He's with Joon sunbae and their stylist-unnie(?) i think, at the end of the hallway, laughing loudly about god knows what this time. Not like I care. I really don't.

Sunbae saw us. Nabongs and I nodded politely and he acknowledged us by nodding back while smiling.

Since the three of us are from the same highschool, you could say our friendship go waay back then. Sunbae is a senior in our school music club that Nabongs and I were in, and I always look up to him since sunbae is the one who personally teached me how to play the trumpet properly.

As we drew closer, I heard him making the stupidest lame joke ever. Wanna hear it?

"Have you heard about the 'music' that Yoongi-hyung did last nght  in the toilet?"

"Of course you dont. It hasnt come out yet~~~"

(cue him laughing loudly at his own jokes)

Nabongs nudged at me while grinning teasingly and I glanced at him, unamused.

She always teased me that we have a similar sense of "nojam" humor and we could be quoteunquote the bestest of friends "if only you could just tolerate him", but I disagree.

My jokes are definitely better than him. Like so much better.

And at least i dont make poop jokes.

"Okay, you know what? You really need to stop that"

I was taken aback with him suddenly appearing right in front of me that i spoke banmal without realizing.  

 ".......what? I have no idea what you're talking about"

I looked at Nabongs in and she shrugged at me in confusion.

Meanwhile this guy in front of me is looking pissed as if someone just stole his icecream.

"Wuuaa..wuahhahh... look hyung, look at this kid. Yah, are you aware that you're using banmal to ME, who debuted FIRST, which means Im your SENIOR,,,,and not only that... did you just roll your eyes at me?? Twicee??" 

Did I? I honestl didnt notice/s

"Is this how you juniors act around their seniors this days?? Dont they teach you manners in that company? When a senior come ALL the way to you, you should ALWAYS fold your arms properly and do a 90 degree bow while saying your greetings enthusisasticall-

"-just because yOu debuted first?"

Woops, I accidentally said it out loud..

He scoffed really loudly in utter and complete disbelief.  And here I thought Jin sunbae is the drama queenin the group.

"Now listen here you rude little b-

 "Jimin. Thats enough" 

Sunbae interrupted him while putting a hand on his chest as a warning sign.

"WE'RE VERY SORRY!! Im not trying to make excuses but it seems that shes's not fully awake yet... We'll make sure to greet sunbae-nims properly next time!!"

Nabongs elbowed me and whisper under her breath "..Yah, dont just keep mum. Hurry up and apologise to sunbae-nim!"

Okay, what did I do so wrong again? Why do I need to apologise?

I felt my phone vibrated and glanced down to see manager-unni caling me. Our break must be over then.

Ah damn, unni will start her long lecture if were being late again. I must get out of this situation fast.

"Well, Im not the one who suddenly showed up and tried to boss other people around but I guess its still my fault then?

I looked at him directly while trying my best to remain absolutely polite with my words (although I think I failed miserably since i have zero tolerance for bull)

I pretended to check my non-existent watch on my right hand wrist and exclaimed dramatically.

"Shoot! We need to be on stage next so Im afraid we'll be taking our leave first. Its nice to see you again Joon sunbae."

I grabbed Nabongs hand and bowed slightly to subae, while preparing to flee.

"And you...i guess i'm sorry then"

I muttered  unapologitically before we ran up the stairs behind them.  

I can still hear him screaming his lungs outwhile we are at the top of the stairs.

"YOU CALLTHAT AN 'APOLOGY'??!! COME BACK HERE I'M NOT DONE TALKING TO Youuuu.....
