Description

As a lyricist with a fair amount of emotional baggage, Baekhyun really doesn’t have time for snarky, workaholic composers. And yet at the same time, he kind of needs Park Chanyeol in order to save his career. What’s more… Chanyeol kind of needs him too.

Foreword

This fic is inspired from a tweet prompt I saw a while ago, which in turn was inspired from That Scene in EXO Next Door where Baekhyun and Chanyeol are being the musical soulmates that they are and composing a song on the fly. I added an Enemies-to-Lovers trope and here we are! The composer and lyricist fic no one asked for. Comments and feedback are appreciated! Thanks for reading!

Chapter 1: Awh this was really beautiful! Everything is perfect, how they went from hating each other to loving each other. I like how you built up the tension with these moments. And especially how they've liked each other since before but didn't admit it. This was really sweet an just really beautiful. I have no other words, but I loved everything about this. And the characters were so on point. Thank you for writing this, I loved it ❤

yesss! it’s here! his was such a lovely little read i’m so glad it was receding on twitter. i just saw you subbed my story and i was like WAIT I KNOW THAT NAME so here i am to sing praises of your fic :DDD
FIRSTLY, you accomplish a lot with a little. lots and lots of personality packed into not many words. a great setup with backstory leading into a quick romance. usually enemies to lovers is a slow burn but in your case i love how the enemies bit was actually resistance to attraction! and yeol being a typical dude who teases and annoys someone he likes, and baek being a typical dude who can’t cope with feelings. ahh the realism...it burns xD also bi!baek thank YOU FOR BI REP.
