I sat at the Wishing Fountain, watching people throw their coins in after making a wish.

A couple was walking by, both of them laughing and holding a coin together. They made a wish before tossing their coin.

I watched the coin dive into the water and the couple walked away. I sat here almost everyday, finding it unbelievably familiar.

Like a sense of deja vu.

I watched as an old granny sat a distance away from me. She took a coin and held it in her hands for a long time. Eyes closed.

I shifted and she opened her eyes, throwing the coin behind her, into the fountain.

I wondered what she wished for, that she sat there for so long. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned, the old granny watching me, "You sit here everyday?"

"Not really-"

"You don't have to lie to me, I see you here everyday."

I blinked at her, confused. She smiled her kind old lady smile, "I wished that whatever this young lady next to me wished will come true."

She wished for me?

"Kamsahamida hajiman-"

"No harm trying to wish for something right? Just try, for the novelty of it."

She walked off slowly and I rested my hands on the concrete I was sitting on. I felt something under my hand and lifted up to see a coin there.

I looked up, the old lady was gone.

I held the bronze coin in my hand, the bright sun barely reflecting rays off the coin.

For the novelty of it.

I held the coin in my hand.

-I wish that I can regain my memory, from before the accident. So that I can remember why this place is so familiar to me.- 

I tossed the coin, watched it fly and hit someone else's coin before both coins fell into the water.

I looked up at the man whose coin hit mine and froze. His face so familiar to me.

We stared onto one another's eyes, my heart aching terribly.
