A

• Anesthesiologist -a physician trained in anesthesia and perioperative medicine
• Anesthesiology - a medical speciality concerned with the study of anesthesia or anesthetics

C

• Cardiologist - a physician who specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases or conditions of the heart and blood vessels(the cardiovascular system)
• Cardiology - a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the heart as well as parts of the circulatory system 
• Cardiac surgeon - a physician who specializes in surgerical procedures involving the heart and the great vessels

E

• Emergency Room(ER) - a medical treatment facility specializing in emergency medicine/ the acute care of patients who comes   without prior appointment; either by their own means or by an ambulance
• Emergency Room(ER) specialist -  a physician who works at an emergency department to care for acutely ill patients ; ensures that the ER is functioning properly ; overlooks the critical points in the ER

G

• General surgeon - a physician who specializes on abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, etc
• General surgery - a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents and often the thyroid gland

• Neonatologist - a pediatric medical doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders in newborns
• Neurologist -  a medical doctor who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of brain, spinal cord, and nervous system diseases
• Neurology - a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system
•  Neurosurgeon -  a medical doctor who specialize in surgery of the brain, spinal column, and nervous system.

• Oncologist - a medical doctor who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer
• Oncology -  a branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer

P

• Pediatric - a branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents
• Pediatrician -  a medical doctor who specialize in the care of children

• Surgerical oncologist - a physician who specializes in surgerical procedures of removing tumors

• Thoracic surgeon - a physician who specializes in surgical procedures of the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in the chest
• Trauma surgeon - a physician who attends to patients who fall into certain categories, such as low blood pressure after a car accident, or if the ER patients need emergency surgery to save their life or prevent long-lasting or permanent damage
• Trauma team - a multidisciplinary group of healthcare workers who collectively work together on the assessment and treatment of those who are severely injured.
