Life isn't always perfect. Life isn't always the way you want it to be. 

Choi Minho was once a stereotypical nerd, never ceasing to receive insults and malicious attacks from others; it was almost as if his life would be that way forever. He wanted nothing, just to escape America, the place that reminded him of pain and torture that others incited into him. Leaving the place of suffering did little to help, only increasing the agony that he experienced. It was that one day...that one day that changed his life forever. It turned his life upside down, changing him forever. He wouldn't be the same person again, at least not until he met her.

Choi Sulli was the younger sister of the jockey of the school, Onew. Being part of the popular squad of high school, she was only ever seen with such crowds. Although she may have been well-liked by those around her, she never became blinded with a sense of shallowness, always believing that each individual shined in their own ways, appearance not mattering in the end equation. Known as one of the most humblest and generous people, she always exhibited a bubbly aura attracting everyone in her vicinity. Through the roller coaster of high school, she experienced her first love with her close friend...or was it really love? Was it all a mistake, or was it just mere friendship that had been mistaken for something else?

One chance brings Minho and Sulli together from across two oceans, but sometimes one opportunity just isn't enough...not enough to know how much the they mean to each other. When fate is at work, Minho and Sulli meet once again, many years later, stranger to stranger. As their journey begins, they can't help experiencing the roller coaster of emotions as they find out what they truly value.
