I could hear the screaming as we walked off the stage. Even if this was our goodbye stage, I was smiling for some reason....But it isn't because I was happy.It was because he was. Im Jaebum, my partner in crime, my roomate, my best friend. He would never betray me and I wouldn't betray him either. Sure the elder was quite more muscular than him, but he had a soft heart. He is the bestest friend you could ever have.

"Jinyoungie!" called Jaebum from afar. He was holding a cake in his hands waiting for me to come over. "What is this?" I asked as I ran towards him. "It's our goodbye cake. I was hoping we could promise each other something instead of making a wish. We could do it with our next cake too! Then we have to keep it, no matter what. Is that okay with you?" He said with his cheeky smile that could melt anyone's heart. I smiled to myself and went to say my promise.  

"I promise that no matter what happens, I will never leave, even if I get a better offer somewhere. I promise to stay here." I said. And I meant those words, with all my heart.

"Wow...Nice promise." He started saying, and he chuckled. "But I could easily do better."

I waited for him to continue. I immidiately regretted waiting after he said the most heartfelt thing I have heard or seen.

"I promise that we are forever. This friendship is one of the most important things to me and I would do anything to make you happy. Even if it means dying. Cause you are that important to me. Jjproject is forever, this company is forever, and we will always be best friend forever." 

Tears started to roll down his eyes and I couldn't help but cry to. It isn't to often I see him cry.And besides I will remember this promise.Even 5 years from now. A soon as we let go of each other, we blew out the candle. I knew we were forever but hearing him say it is all I could ask for.
