" Yun--Yunho...? ", gasped Jaejoong weakly.

Yunho lowered his gun and looked at Jaejoong with tears glazing his eyes over. He quickly knelt down beside his lover and gently placed his hand on the growing bloody spot on Jaejoong's stomach, causing the elder to wince slightly in pain.

" Jae! Oh, god...! You're gonna be alright! You're gonna be-- ", stammered Yunho, but Jaejoong put a finger to the latter's lips to silence him.

" Shhh~ It's okay, Yunho. It's okay. ", Jaejoong said hoarsely with a small smile.

" No! It's not okay! It's my fault this happened! I'm the one who broke your heart and betrayed your trust! ", cried Yunho with tears cascading down his cheeks.

Yunho laid his head on Jaejoong's slowly breathing chest and cried softly. Jaejoong stroked Yunho's wet locks softly and lovingly.

" But you made up for it by coming back and saving me. ", said Jaejoong with a small smile.

" That's not enough to change what happened, Jae. ", said Yunho as he put a hand to Jaejoong's cheek.

" It's alright, Yunho. Just let me die. You move on in life and find another to love you. ", said Jaejoong softly.

" No. If you're going to die, I'm joining you. Life is pointless if you're not by my side. I can't love another as much as I love you ", said Yunho as he stood up and held the gun to himself.

" No, Yunho! NO!!! ", cried Jaejoong as a burst of adrenaline surged through him, surging him forward to prevent Yunho from killing himself.

But he was a split second too late.

Yunho had squeezed the trigger and there was a loud bang. All Jaejoong could see was more blood and Yunho's beautiful eyes scrunch up in pain.

Both men fell down on the wet ground side by side, the rain pelting down on their bodies and mixing with the blood that was flowing around them.

" No! Yunho! ", screamed Jaejoong as he let tears fall from his eyes.  " What have you done?! "

Yunho only caressed Jaejoong's wet cheek softly and lovingly with a weak smile on his lips. Jaejoong touched Yunho's face slowly with tears streaming down to the ground.

" If I can't be with you here on Earth, we can be together in Heaven. This is the only way for me. ", whispered Yunho.

" Yunnie... ", sobbed Jaejoong softly.

" God, how I missed you calling me that... ", chuckled Yunho softly.

" Yunnie... My Yunnie... ", cried Jaejoong as he pressed himself closer to Yunho.

" I love you, Jae. I'm sorry...for everything. ", said Yunho weakly as his eyes started to flutter shut.

" I love you too, Yunnie... I could never stay angry at you... ", whispered Jaejoong hoarsely.

Yunho brought Jaejoong forward and they shared one last passionate and pure kiss. As they kissed, memories flashed through Yunho's mind...

The first time he met Jaejoong in the P.D. and how handsome he thought the elder was...

The time he saved Jaejoong twice: the first when he saved Jaejoong from getting run down and the second when he caught Jaejoong before he could fall from the stool...

The first time he kissed Jaejoong and how sweet the feeling was...

The first time he saw Jaejoong cry for his well-being...

The time when Jaejoong confessed that he did love him...

The night where he laid eyes on Jaejoong's scars...

The same night that they made love and became one...

Yunho pressed Jaejoong closer to him, the both of them sharing on last intimate kiss as life slowly ebbed from their bodies.

" I love you, Jung Yunho... ", Jaejoong rasped out, his voice no softer than the softest of whispers.

" I love you too, Kim Jaejoong... Let's meet...in Paradise... ", whispered Yunho through their kiss.

And just like that, both lovers died together side by side. They died serenely after mending the rift in their relationship and forgiving all the hurts they caused each other for good.
