Die Together: Chapter 12~

Jaejoong curled up uncomfortably into a ball and started to sob softly again. He couldn't handle the betrayal of the one he loved so much. The pain was unbearable to handle like someone had stabbed him a thousand times.

" Jae? ", called Kangin.

There was no response.

" Jae. "

Silence still filled the warehouse and the P.D. were looking pretty much glum because they had failed.

" Jae, I know you might not listen, but I think you should forgive Yunho. Hell yeah, he broke your heart and betrayed us, but do you still love him? "

" I don't know. ", came the hoarse whisper.  " I don't know what to think or feel any longer. "

" Snap outta it, man! ", shouted Heechul.  " The guy still loves you! Couldn't you see in his eyes that he was sorry for betraying you?! "

" No, he isn't. He isn't sorry. Not at all. ", was the reply.

" LISTEN TO YOURSELF, JAEJOONG! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SAYING?! THE KIM JAEJOONG I KNEW WOULDN'T GIVE SUCH A LAME-ASS ANSWER AS THIS! KNOWING HIM, HE WOULD GET UP, FORGET ABOUT THE PAST AND MOVE ON! ", shrieked Heechul in rage and disbelief.

" Well, that side of Kim Jaejoong has just been successfully been killed by a certain Jung Yunho. ", was the stifled reply.

" WHAT THE FUCKING SHIT ARE YOU SAYING, KIM JAEJOONG?! THAT'S NOT TRUE AND YOU KNOW IT! THE BLAZING KIM JAEJOONG FIRE IS STILL THERE, WAITING TO BE IGNITED AGAIN! YOU JUST WANNA LIE THERE AND MOPE ABOUT YUNHO'S BETRAYAL FOR THE NEXT TWENTY MILLION YEARS?! "

" You don't know how it feels, Heechul... You don't know how it feels like to try and nurse a wounded and backstabbed heart... "

" I DO!!! AND HOW?! BECAUSE HANNIE HAD CHEATED ON ME BEFORE!!! "

Jaejoong looked up with surprise in his teary red eyes at the diva cop.

" Hannie used to sleep with women behind my back when we first dated, but because I loved him too much, I stayed faithful to him until he saw my pure love for him. Ever since, he had only stayed with me and never went out behind my back. ", confessed Heechul.

" When I first found out, my heart was broken. I nursed it back with the time I had to myself. I repeatedly told myself that I could probably change him and I did eventually. "

Silence filled the room as everyone listened to Heechul's personal love story.

" Jae, please snap out of your pity. You're better than this and you know it. ", said Heechul.

Jaejoong bowed his head and thought for a little while.

He knew Heechul had a point. This was not like him at all to mope or have a cracked resolve, but Yunho had scarred his heart and it was a deep wound.

Finally, he made up his decision: forget what had hurt him in the first place and stop Lee Joonki once and for all.

He started to squirm over to a nail left on the floor and grabbed it. He waggled the tip of the nail into the lock that secured his chains and unlocked it.

Once he was free, he released his friends.

" Let's go get Joonki and kill him. ", he said with a smirk.

" That's the Jaejoong we know! ", whooped Kyuhyun.

Kangin handed Jaejoong a gun and a dagger. As Jaejoong took it, Kangin patted his back with a proud smile.

" Welcome back, Jae. "

" Glad to be. "

Heechul and Changmin shot the lock open as HyunA and Minho blasted a large hole open in the steel doors. The P.D. jumped through the hole and raced down to the docks to stop Joonki for good.

Meh, short, I know. Wanted to leave you guys in suspense here XD
