"Quick!"

"Ah! Wait, I can't keep up any longer"

We were in the woods, masked men in black with weapons chasing after us. All I know is that there was some festival going on and suddenly people started screaming. And then someone grabbed my hand and started running. That someone was Jeon Jungkook.

"Faster you idiot!" Jungkook shouted

The wind was slapping my face as I run telling me to wake up, that this was real. I'm being chased by a group of men. 

I scoffed "Yah! How could you say that?! You just insulted a member of the royal family! Did you know that I can sentence you to death-" 

"Sentence me to death or whatever. I don't care. My dad assigned me that I'm responsible for your safety and the king entrusted me to this. So shut up and be thankful that I'm saving your life. If I hadn't accepted that responsibility you would be lying dead right now."

The thought of me lying lifeless on the ground with a pool of blood made my skin crawl. Without looking, I tripped and fell at a sprawled roots of a tree. 

"Ah! That hurts!" I sat down letting my skirt up and looked over at the wound at my lower leg. Jungkook stopped running and kneeled beside me. He mumbled "pathetic" under his breath along with a curse.

"Are you okay?" He asked, his face contorted into worry and annoyed

"With blood seeping out of my leg. Do you think I'm okay?" I sarcastically replied

He rolled his eyes and carried me bridal style 

"Wait, what are you doing?" I asked my eyes widening

"I'm carrying you of course because you can't walk."

"You don't have to" I said blushing

"I have to" He said making me blush even more. Ugh, get a grip on yourself Seyi!

"Find them!" A man shouted

"Hurry! They're catching up!" I whispered at the same time screamed into his ear

"Try carrying someone who weighs like a ton" Jungkook replied

"For your information-"

"Alright, I know."

"You didn't even-"

"Just shut up okay?" His voice authorized. I closed my mouth in fear.

Eventually after hours of endless running, he came to a hault at a small river connected to a waterfalls and a lake below. He let me down and guided me to the river. I looked down at the cliff and my eyes widened. 

"What are we doing here?" I asked confused

"It's the only way" He said

"What way?" I asked getting scared by the minute

"We have to jump"

"Okay WAIT- WHAT?!"

"We have to jump, its the only way." He turned his gazed to me

"I-I c-can't swim" I said shaking in fear

"Hey" Jungkook cupped my cheeks and looked into my eyes. My face reflecting in his black orbs. 

"Hey" I breathed out

"Its either you get caught or jump into the water. If you get caught, do you think they will even spare your life? If you jump, then you will have a chance of being alive." Jungkook said caressing my cheeks.

"What if I drown? What if-"

"You're gonna be alright. Just trust me okay? Hold unto my hand and you will be fine. Just trust me." He reassured me and it somehow worked. He managed to take all of my fears away.

"There they are! Catch them!" A man ordered to his fellows. Someone mounting a horse from the group of men aimed their arrow at us. I looked at Jungkook in panic yet his face was calm.  He was telling me something through his eyes and I didn't like it. 

He told me to jump in 3...2...1

We jumped off, holding each other's hand tight, not wanting to let go in fear of losing the other.
