Chapter 7 - A Brittle Road

One by one, problems arise for Yunho and Jaejoong. As TVXQ's stability is threatened, what would the leader do?

“What is this?!”

TVXQ’s manager asked as he angrily placed some photographs on the table. He was standing behind the table and sitting across him was TVXQ’s leader, Yunho.

Yunho was called in at SM building that morning and absolutely had no idea what happened. He peeked on the photographs on the table and the first thing he noticed was a red shade in the middle of the photo.

“A red cap?... It couldn’t be Jaejoong?” He thought.

He began to pick up the photo to see clearly, and upon doing so, it validated what he feared the most. It was a picture of Jaejoong and him in an intimate embrace. Jaejoong’s back was shown. He was wearing his leather jacket and his blonde hair was so visible under the cap. Then there was his own face on Jaejoong’s shoulder. No one could mistake it was them.

The older man was angry and reprimanded Yunho. “You fly in and out and disappear without notice. Do you think I don’t know you’re meeting with Kim Jaejoong? I let you go as you please since you should know what you’re doing. Even yesterday you said you were meeting your parents, but then this! This is what shows up on my desk?!”

Yunho was speechless. He was trying to recall the surroundings that time. He checked and was sure no one was there. But apparently, he’s wrong.

“Good thing this was taken by a magazine. If it were one of your fans, by now it would have spread all over the internet and caused an uproar! You want to top the Hug of the Century, huh? Is that it?! ‘DBSK Reunites!’,” he imagined the headlines.

“Which magazine?” Yunho asked.

“Forget it! You know how much it cost to keep their mouths shut? Six million won! SIX MILLION!” He gets the photos from the table and from Yunho’s hand and rips them apart before throwing them into the trash bin.

Yunho was just frozen and stared at his hyung. He was feeling all the responsibility. It was his mistake. He could’ve had met Jaejoong somewhere farther. He could’ve asked him to change from his interview clothes. There were many things he could have done to prevent this clear shot of them. How could he be so careless?
