Characters
Kyuhyun Zhoumi Heechul Siwon
Description
Zhoumi: antisocial deviant. Kyuhyun: non-conformist predator. A white queen and a black horse, both with a taste for blood and art. If only college was as simple as a chess game.
Genre: AU, drama, angst, psychological
Pairing: Qmi/Kyumi, Sichul
Approximate Length: 10+ chapters, unless I write someone off.
Foreword

*Note: Zugzwang and zwischenzug are German for, respectively, compulsion to move and intermediate move in a game of chess. Zugzwang usually occurs during the endgame, when a player is forced to make an undesirable move. Zwischenzug occurs when a player under threat, instead of countering, introduces a more devastating threat, hence forcing him to abandon the earlier attack.
Enjoy. More or less. Please.

OK, seriously, I'm going to warn sane people away from this story. Or anyone with obsessive-compulsive grammar habits because. Um. I realy abuse commas and periods in this. And I repeat a lot of words. Such as 'but'.
Also, for those familiar with my other works, the characters in this story won't be as outrageously insane. They actually won't be insane at all. They're simply very reasonable people acting insane to cope with the madness they see around them. Wow, that sounds really lovely ._.

I like that they are equally insane, yet complete opposites.

you're writing has improved significantly for this story. It didn't seem as if the character's were repeating their thoughts, and i think you're getting the hang of how and when to make staccato sentences. :)

I'm never quite sure what to take literally and what to take figuratively. So I've taken everything literally and formed quite an abstract picture in my head.
I'm also an avid reader, but only fifteen. So I'm certainly feeling challenged while reading this.
Your writing is really good and something I read a chapter three or four times.

...is it wrong that when you wrote 'broccoli costume' I immediately thought of Cooking Cooking in SS2...

before I read the chappies I missed (I got to a half of the 3rd chappy but things and people kept distracting me >>), let me just say that the style of Zwigzwang Zwoggle or how we also call it Zwiggle Zwoggle or Zazzy reminds me a lot of Russian realism because of the detailed descriptions and I absolutely love it!! 8D it's like i'm reading a new Dostoevsky or Tolstoy. I bet Zazzy is gonna be long as _____. XD

Omg, your using my favorite writing style in literary fiction. I have a suggestion in the physical formating that may help tone down the amount of periods.
instead of writing it like thisBut to his surprise, Kuixian did not stare, or pause, or blink, as he spooned up the tiny little head and swallowed it whole. Kuixian smacked his lips and smiled. Brilliantly."
Do it like this:
"But to his surprise, Kuixian did not stare,or pause, or blink, as he spooned up the tiny little head and swallowed it whole.
Kuixian smacked his lips and smiled.
Brilliantly.
Zhoumi died a little"
Do you feel the difference? these method allows you to fully create staccato sentences for the effect this writing style goes for. For further examples check out the book "the messenger by markus zusak" He also wrote the book thief in the same style (and i find it a better story) but the messenger creates a better effect. I'm not saying read the whole book, but check out some passages to get a feel for what i'm talking about in case you think i'm not making any sense or if you don't see any difference between what i said and what you are already doing.

You know I'm a gullible reader. Whenever I read fiction with a hint of unstable headed character, I see the rationality behind their action. I really love your writing it's sooo Poe-esque, which sucks you in a world of crazy so well constructed it makes sense! And as a gullible reader I am always in awe of how well you make absolute wonderful sense! The cutting of the toe was so Van Gogh! love, love, love!
