Description

The plane bringing Jisoo back to Seoul from California on that day had been travelling with heavily damaged engines, and the outcome was not known. There were several videos and pictures going around the internet, believed to be the passengers' last words for their family and friends clinging onto every last hope. The plane was bound to land sooner or later, but whether it landed intact or in pieces was a separate matter altogether. Everyone knows the danger and risks of being in a plane that was not in perfect condition so it was more than safe to say that the passengers knew how much danger they were in.

As for Jisoo...

Well, it'll be good to find out.

Hey guys, so the sequel is finally out and this is part two of the story. If you're a new subscriber and don't know what I'm talking about, here's the link for the first one:

The Girl Next Door

Foreword

“Miss Kim, your father asked me to remind you that you’ll be having a meeting along with in Thailand for the upcoming collaboration with N.H. Corporations soon.”

“Thank you, Yoona-unnie. When will you start calling me by name though? You’re older than me and I don’t want to have to be referred to as a superior. Plus, you also have more experience working in a company too, right?”

The new CEO giggled heartily when she saw her secretary blush adorably, ignoring the fact that she was supposed to keep a distance from all her subordinates. She had been working alongside her father for quite some time and it was tiring, mostly because this was a new branch of the company in the United States and not her hometown. Now that he had stepped down and handed the company to her, she was considered new once more. Almost all her colleagues were older than her and only two were the same age as her. There was no reason for her to have anyone greeting her like that when she should be the one being respectful to all of them.

Yoona, her secretary, was considered more than a friend to her. She was just like the elder sister she had, just that her sister was living overseas and not with the family.

“Miss Kim,” Yoona smiled sheepishly and changed her greeting at once, “J-Jisoo… don’t work too late, okay?”

Jisoo simply nodded and watched as her secretary left her office; she hated working in a company like this because it was difficult to understand, and she didn't major in any business course in university either. Come to think of it, Jisoo could barely remember anything ever since she woke up in hospital. Her parents did fill her in mostly everything, ranging from how she got into a car accident after her graduation from a university overseas hence waking up in a foreign hospital. She didn't doubt the story for one second, because her sister was also by her side when she woke up.

Well... it does feel good to be here.

*

“Aw, come on… We haven’t been intimate since forever!”

“Oh please, it was last week.”

“Whatever, Jen.”

Jennie rolled her eyes in disgust as she watched him climb out of her queen-sized bed, ignoring the way he was acting like a toddler. She honestly had no tolerance for people who behaved as if they owned the entire world; she did whatever the hell she wanted and no one would be able to stop her either way. She wasn’t serious with this one either; he was no one special to her if she put it really bluntly. Honestly, Jennie had made it a hundred percent clear to everyone that approached her: she was not interested in having a committed relationship because it would just become a burden to her.

When she was sure the guy was no longer in her room, Jennie took out a small polaroid photo from her pillowcase and sighed; she was in such deep .

“Jisoo… where are you?”

Chapter 7: I feel sorry for Jisoo and Jennie. I think Lisa, Rose and Wendy are stupid in this last chap. They brought Jisoo to Jennie's and then keep silent when confronted. If they really feel guilty and want Jennie to forgive them, they should have at least told Jennie that Jisoo has amnesia. Are they expecting a grand reunion between the two after all the lying and withholding information that they've done? And considering that Jisoo cannot even recall her past.

*quietly groans in the corner*
This is gonna take a HELL lot of baby steps for everyone just to repair all the damage that's happened for the past years.
I feel especially sorry for Jisoo since she's pretty much a lost puppy with no owner here, and I admire how she hasn't slightly broken down after a failed encounter with her friends and that Lisa couldn't defend her in time.

I wish they'd talk it out soon just to clear any sort of misunderstanding between both parties. Also cuz Jisoo is alone and I feel like her dad is gonna send someone to hunt her down or smth--
But y'know, I can't blame Jennie and co for feeling so upset. Especially Jennie cuz bich, even her own friends kept Jisoo hidden from her and kept a whole bunch of other things from her until she found out herself.
