Description

Park Bo Gum was ten when his mother passed away due to pancreatic carcinoma. 2 years later, still in the process of recovering from the grief, his father became a victim of Daejeon bombing while on duty, trying to deactivate the bomb planted on the street of South Korea's fifth-largest metropolis. Daejeon’s bombing was one of the tragic event that ever occurred in South Korea, inflicted severe casualties and caused nationwide to be shaken by the loss of South Korea’s most honourable Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit.  

 

19 April 2013 was the day Park Bo Gum was selected to be the station inspector for his school National Police Cadet Corp. He remembered the last call he had with his father, it was a short yet the most unforgettable one.

“Appa, the school chose me to be the station inspector!”

“Wah, jinjja! I am so proud of you, son! You really make me feel proud. I am sure Eomma is proud of you too.”

“Appa, give me a big hug today when you get home!” Bo Gum chuckled in happiness.

“Arasso, I will bring you to eat at your most favourite restaurant. Let’s be happy, son.”

“App-” Bo Gum heard instructions being given out in the background. “Is everything o-”

“I have to go now, there is an emergency. See you tonight, son. Take care. Appa saranghae.”

That was the last time Park Bo Gum ever heard of his father.

Until now, even after 8 years, the criminal has yet to be brought to justice.

His father death has yet to be recompensed. For 8 years, he waited.

 

Will Park Bo Gum put the criminal of Daejeon's bombing behind bars?

Is he able to solve all the recent gruesome crime cases occuring in South Korea while searching and discovering the clues to solve a case that occured 8 years ago, which everyone has moved on from since?

CHARACTERS: 

 

Park Bo Gum 

Park Bo Gum is an outstanding, well-rounded and optimistic criminal profiler that goes an extra mile to solve cases. 

He was born in a loving and well-to-do family as his father was the leader of the South Korea's honourable Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit. His mother was a full-time housewife whom was very caring. However, he lost both of his parents at a young age and at thirteen, after his father death, he was adopted into a new family, of which he was forced to live with stepbrothers whom he was not fond of.  

Lee Sung Kyung 

Lee Sung Kyung is an excellent detective as well as a behavioural analysts. She was transferred from the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) to the Special Investigation Unit. Sung Kyung has a photographic memory since she was young. 

Kim Jae Wook 

Kim Jae Wook is the charming leader of the Special Investigation Team, he is meticulous and a confident team leader, often succeed in solving crime cases. However, his team members dislike him for his narcissitic attitude. He has his eyes set on Jo Bo-Ah from the first time he met her, at the cafe.  

Jo Bo Ah

A pretty, y and smart woman that a lot of guys fall for. Jo Bo Ah is an attractive psychological analyst of the Special Investigation Unit. She works closely with Lee Sung Kyung to obtain information regarding criminals.

Members of BTS 

Seok Jin, V, Suga, Jung Kook, Rapmon, J-hope, Jimin are members of the Special Investigation Unit. Most of them except Rapmon graduated from the Korean National Police University. Due to Rapmon's high Intelligence Quotient, he was recognised by the F.B.I team of the United Kingdom and was trained in that unit before being transferred into the Special Investigation Unit upon his request to work in South Korea. All of these seven guys has their own astounding capabilites: Seok Jin and Jimin are hackers for the S.I.U department. Rapmon and the rest of the members form a team involve in forensic pathology in the S.I.U department.
