Life is full of oddities — the most recent and prominent one being the existence of Kim Taehyung in her life. Standing five foot ten, a mere four inches taller, yet Lisa is grateful for the slight difference that allows her to nestle her face into the warming comfort of his chest, nimble fingers clutching the lapels of his jacket so tightly he starts to chuckle about how she would rip it straight off. It's just like him to crack one in the midst of her teary complaint about the low score on her math test, cruel almost. Yet even in her petty outrage, she understands that being serious is a painful weight on his chest that he reserves for the times she really needs his arms draped protectively around her, his fingers the bangs out of her eyes so he can plant reassuring kisses to her forehead. 

That's for another day. Ice cream will suffice for now. 

These are the days she spends with him, unravelling the engima of the boy sitting two rows away, laughter reverberating across the room. And these are the days she comes to realize how much of an oddity she is as well.
