“I want to be special.”

The view at the top of the mountain was definitely something spectacular. Below, the streets were beginning to illuminate and before long, a sea of lights was looming across the entire city as the pomegranate colored sky gradually dissipated into darkness. However, that wasn’t what had seared into Jeongyeon’s consciousness from that moment onwards. It was the sight of the girl; hair tied up in a high pony tail with strands of the subdued earthy tone having fallen so perfectly on her face. Her being in that plain yet delicate white dress, flitters across  in gentle steps with the night behind her repeating those words.

“I want to be special.”

The girl had shone so effortlessly in front of her and Jeongyeon couldn’t help but notice the glowing spark in her eyes as she focused so intently onto Jeongyeon herself. At that point, Jeongyeon had to ask herself if the girl could see it; see that she was already plenty 'special' herself.

Jeongyeon couldn’t remember much of that night besides the fact that her heart was beating so loudly that it might have thumped out of her chest and maybe one ridiculously lucid conviction that had made its way to her train of thoughts the moment the figure in the white dress had dazzled in front of her.

Right here right now, I was helplessly drawn to her… At that moment, I felt like I didn’t mind losing my life.
