ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FRESHIE’S WELCOME CEREMONY. 

My team and I prepared the program flow of the welcoming day this coming week. After months of meeting we were able to finalize the speaker for this ceremony and the speech points of each Dean in the university were already published ready to be mailed. Today we are printing out the invitations for all of the freshmen students, together with the tickets for the booth and meal stubs. The decorations committee are setting up the booth area while all the decorations done, waiting to be placed in the auditorium. I am currently organizing the flow, while asking each committee regarding the progress and needs of the departments. The food committee is having a food tasting today and making some safety measures regarding the preparations of the meal.

Flashback 

2008 Kyungsoo is in LOVE.

I was in graduating in high school when someone new came in our neighborhood. They said that it is family with three kids, two boys and a girl. Mom was excited to be friends with the mom next door. It's been a while since we had a neighbor.

I wanted to meet the daughter, because we're in the same year.

The next day I woke up early and left home early to see the new girl, but I was early so she hasn't left home yet. Maybe in school.

Unfortunately we are not going in the same school, she chose to stay in her old school which is also near their new house. I hope I can meet her one of these days, it would be nice to have someone who is in the same age like me and can relate with me. Except that she's a lady.

One month came, but Erin never came out of their house. I still haven't met her. Her mom is close with my mom and she told me that her daughter barely comes out of her room, she likes music and dramas but she's focused in her studies right now.

I was scouted by SM recently, I want to become a singer that's why.

After three months of waiting to meet Erin, I stopped waiting for her. I did not expect to be friends with her anymore. If we'll meet then we will.

One morning she came out of the house. It was a Saturday, she took out the garbage and threw it in the trash bin in front of their house.

She was in her pajamas, with a hoodie to protect her from the biting cold. Her hood covered her hair but I could see her face in side view. She looked pretty. Then she turned, and stopped when she saw me.

I also did not know what to do.

She smiled at me then went back inside.

I smiled back but she did not see it anymore.

My heart was beating fast.

My crush on her stayed like that. I had a relationship in school and forgot about her for a while. When we broke up, I was already in SM Entertainment training for my debut.

I did not think of her for a long time until I met with my friends after 5 years of being in EXO.

“Hey! There’s this pretty girl in my class.” Sunghyun bragged.

“I also have a class with her. She’s popular actually because of her sterling grades in middle school.” Minsung said.

I was just listening to their stories but I was curious how it would look like if we were just all college students right now and I am working under SM. “Who is she?” I asked, interrupting their conversation.

“I forgot her name, but there’s a Rin in the end.” Minsung answered.

“Erin.” Sunghyun said. Sunghyun and Minsung served in the military after our graduation in high school. That is why they are just in their second year in college.

Erin. I totally forgot that I knew a girl named like her. I wonder how is she doing.
