It was the day of their comeback and all Jimin could think about was don’t mess up, please don’t mess up. They put their blood,sweat and tears (😏) into this song and Jimin would hate to be the one to mess up things for the others. There was something about standing on stage, infant of hundreds of people that Jimin just couldn't quite get use to. He loved seeing their fans smile and cheer but at the same time he felt pretty much vulnerable every time he was on a stage. It felt like as if one mistake would be enough to make people hate him… to make his friends hate him. For that reason Jimin was always the one to work the hardest. Occasional blisters, joint pains or injuries couldn't stop him from practicing and during the last 18 stages (yes they had the chance to promote their debut song 18 times, not like Jimin counted) he didn't make one single mistake. But he wasn't proud of it like others would be. All Jimin thought was that’s the least you can do considering you don't have much else to contribute to the team. 

Their teasers got released a few days ago and surprisingly Jimin’s pictures ended up being really popular amongst the fans. His weight loss and orange hair really played a big role and Jimin was beyond thankful. That’s how being noticed feels like, he thought.

The group was currently sitting backstage and their stylists did the last touchups. They already had a long talk with their manager in their dorm about the comeback so no one really talked. Jimin would’ve liked to hear a few encouraging words but he knew that every one was nervous and it wasn't their job to babysit him. 

“Jimin-ah your hair looks really cute.” their makeup artist said as she was applying orange eyeshadow on Jimin’s eyelids.

“Thank you noona.” Jimin responded, he really felt thankful that people made an effort to compliment him but his stomach just felt sick and he couldn't even smile. 

Jimin saw that Jungkook bowed slightly to the hair stylist and approached Jimin.

“Hyuung don’t be nervous.” he said with a little aegyo he tended to do whenever s felt down.

“I’m not you brat.”

“I can tell by the way you play with your fingers and bite your lips tho.” the maknae responded cheekily and Jimin could only laugh. Jungkook really knew him the best and as Jimin didn't have his younger brother with him in Seoul he treated Jungkook like one.

People around them always jokingly asked whether Jungkook got mixed up in the hospital and if they were sure that they weren't actually biological brothers. 

As Jungkook looked at the TV in the room he got distracted by a girl group that performed and started imitating their choreography. Taehyung joined him too and the two of them made everyone laugh. Jimin could always rely on s to do something stupid and make him laugh. Suddenly he felt his phone vibrate and took it out from his pockets.

If I have to watch another group I will

Jiminie …,Jimin though as he smiley like an idiot. As he thought of how nice and genuine his Yoongi hyung always is his phone buzzed again.

The broadcast was live that was what made Jimin incredibly nervous in the first place. He looked at the TV and saw Gfriend performing. They were really popular and had a lot of male friends. So he decided to joke around with Yoongi.

Of course he likes them silly, Jimin thought. He didn't expect Yoongi to answer no but he didn't expect such a blunt answer as well. Well they are really pretty… Jimin was getting lost in his thoughts again until he received another text.

But I’m waiting for someone else so it 

would be nice if they could hurry tf up

Jimin had that creepy smile on his face once again. Yoongi was quite mysterious. Sure the public knew about his properties, where he would party etc. but people didn't know much about his personality or private life. Jimin didn't know much about those either. But if there was one thing Jimin caught up on when it came to Yoongi was that the older cared. He cared a lot about others. He never showed it but he cared quietly. He would always say things without thinking to act all cool and emotionless but the next second he would make sure that he didn't hurt the other person and would try his best to make sure that the other person felt good.

His thought got interrupted by a loud voice:

“Bangtan is up in 5 minutes” and he felt his stomach turn.

“Jimin-ah hurry up” he heard someone and Seokjin took his phone and dragged him towards the stage area.

The members took their positions and he heard a loud 3 2 1 before the music played. 

As he heard their names being screamed at the beginning of the songs it felt like he was on top of the world. As every one made sure that Jimin doesn't go online and read anything he had no idea how much their fanbase had grown. They were even doing fanchants now!

Throughout the song he heard a lot of girls screaming Park Jimin randomly and he couldn't help but smile. Sure the others had more and louder cheers but the few times  he heard his name it really felt like the world was his now. Just like his Yoongi hyung said Jimin made no mistakes and they successfully finished the song. They bowed to their fans and waved before going back stage again.

Before this stage Jimin always though that the debut stage would be the most nerve wrecking one but after that performance he realized that wasn't the truth. He felt like a comeback stage was a way to show people that they were worth it. Worth performing on a stage where thousands of people would die for to perform and worth the people who have waited and cheered for them.

The members made sure to bow to every one passing by them and thank every staff member they saw. Once they finally arrived backstage in their waiting room they had a big group hug with their manager, stylists and basically everyone who helped them. 

As he got his phone back and looked at it he realized that he got tons of texts from Yoongi.

Did he really just comment on the whole performance as if I could read it, Jimin thought.

He couldn't help but giggle. Yoongi could be really silly at times. Also the way Yoongi texted something cute and then immediately added something professional made Jimin laugh even more.  

“Someone’s in a good mood” he heard Hoseok say.

“Yeah hyung we did a good job didn't we?” 

Hoseok was surprised. Jimin was the kind of perfectionist that would over analyze the tiniest mistake and would come up with the conclusion of  “I need to focus more next time”.

“Y-yes Jimin-ah we did good today. You did well.” 

He didn't know that it was but he really liked this Jimin. He always though that Jimin was too strict towards himself but he could never convince the younger of his opinion.

“Let’s go kids. You can rest now.”  

They heard their manager say before they went back to their dorm to sleep.
