Prologue

2107… She finally reached their room, one step closer to the door, she put her hand on the door knob, “This must not be true, she will not cheat on me, she will not break our promises and she will definitely not hurt me in the lowest way possible” she mumbled to herself. She finally turned the door knob, opened the door and then there she was lying on their bed in her white tuxedo with another girl under her.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING???” She screamed at the girl on the bed, she was on the verge of tears but she would not cry, not in front of them.

The girl on the bed smirked at her, then rolled to her side so that she could face the furious girl who was at the door, “Isn’t it obvious what we are doing right now, if you are really that clueless then just wait there I will show in action myself” she said a little too calmly.

She couldn’t take this anymore, she had to get out of this ‘hell hole’, she turned her back got out of the room then slammed the door behind her back and ran out of the hotel.

Run, she had to run faster, she needed to run as fast as her long legs can carry her. She had to run away from the cruel reality which she had once thought as her happily ever after which only happened in those bedtime story. The fact that she was wearing a white weeding dress and high heels was not helping either. In fact, the way she was running drew more attention from people around her. But, at this moment, she just didn’t care.

Those tears rolling down her cheeks were definitely from the process of crying to clean her eyes not from the throbbing pain she was feeling at the moment. She still couldn’t believe that the words which she thought were said with sincerity were just a lie, those kisses with such passion were just an act, the feeling she thought were mutual was actually just one-side.

Coming to a stop, she finally reached a pier, kneeled down then looked at the white gold ring on her left ring finger, the words “Y love Y” were carved into the ring, those memories about 7 days ago just appeared in her head one by one, they were supposed to be sweet and happy one but now all she wanted to do was erase them completely.

As she clutched the ring tightly in her hand for the last time, then she did what girls normally do when their heart were broken, she threw the ring, which had been thrown once, as far as she could into the sea.

“This is the first but also last time, Kwon Yuri cries her heart out for Im Yoona” she promised herself.
