Siyeon never had dreams. The only thing she wanted was to belong somewhere. She wanted to live an ordinary life, with nice parents in a nice house and feel loved. Was that too much to wish for?

She had no happy memory of her family, not even one. Her first memory of her parents was not exactly a nice one. She remembers when her father hit her for the first time.

She was the same age as her sister now, or maybe even younger. She was really riny and weak, because during that time her parents did not have stable jobs and they stopped feeding Siyeon because they needed money for alcohol and cigarettes. 

Her parents were not at home, and Siyeon was just a small kid. She was scared, hungry and terribly sad. Some time later, her father came home without her mother and Siyeon started crying after she saw him, and kept begging for food and asking where her mommy was.

When her father, clearly drunk, told her to shut the up, she started crying even more. And that was when her father beated her up. He did not just slap her, it was way worse than that.

And since then, Siyeons life became even worse.

As years passed, she started to feel like happiness did not exist in this dumb world. She had a lot of friends and was popular among guys too because of her outstanding beauty, but she could not care less, it meant nothing to her.

She did not want to date anyone, because she was sure every guy was just like her father, cruel.

Her mother was not like that, she loved drinking too yes, but she would never slap her children. But she did not protect them either, she was too scared of her husband and she did not dare to face him. She knew what he was capable of doing.
