Chaeyeon handed Baekhyun a caramel apple on a stick, or so he thought. Jongin bit back a grin as Baekhyun promptly took a large bite of it and wailed, tears pricking at his eyes because it was actually an onion covered in caramel.

A few of them were in her apartment, studying for midterms. Hers had finished, so she was relaxing and watching the others struggle. Jongin wasn’t blind though. He saw the dark circles that had formed under her eyes and how she blinked rapidly as she usually did when she was tired and her vision had started to get blurry.

He tugged at her arm, “You can sleep if you want to.”

“But—”

“They’re used to your place,” he murmured. “You don’t have to stay awake for them,” He tried to reason with her. It was clear that she needed to rest. “Kyungsoo and I can chase them out if it gets too late, or they can pass out on the carpet because you have extra blankets.”

She blinked, a grateful smile spreading toward her face before her eyes flutter closed as she leaned against him, “Thanks.”

“Yeah,” he gently pushed her toward the bathroom. “Night and sweet dreams.”

“If you’re implying for me to dream about you, fat chance.”

“A guy can wish,” he grinned, wiggling his eyebrows and making her roll her eyes, but she smiled anyway.
