It was basically tradition. If they didn’t do it, it felt weird.
So when Kyungsoo was late to their usual weekend brunch, Jongin had absolutely no idea what to do. Apparently, Chaeyeon felt the same way as she repeatedly checked the time on her phone.
“What are we going to order?”
“Don’t we order the same thing every weekend?” Chaeyeon wrinkled her nose at him, eyes flickering to the clock on the wall of the small bistro that was entirely too familiar with the trio’s presence. Too bad that the third of the trio hadn’t shown up yet.
“I don’t know. Kyungsoo is the one who always orders,” Jongin shot back easily, eyes scanning over the menu.
“That’s because you are too busy at watching everyone else’s plate instead of reading the menu,” Chaeyeon rolled her eyes, but the twitch of her lips into a slight smile gave away her amusement.
“You do the same.”
“Do not.”
“What did Kyungsoo order last weekend?” Jongin put the menu between them, arching his eyebrows at her silence and the two of them burst into laughter.
Somewhere in the midst of realizing that the two of them were absolutely obsessed with food and mourning the fact that Kyungsoo was probably the only normal one amongst the three, the said man slid into his chair with a breezy, “What did I miss?”
