♡ Teaser 4 - Moon ♡
♡ JoA - I Like You! ♡ discontinued for nowTeaser
Minhee sits on the couch in the practice room with her fellow trainees. Simon D, one of the company’s CEOs, paces angrily in front of them.
“Do you know how much we’ve invested into you?” he demands, gesturing wildly. The girl on Minhee’s left, Anhee, shifts slightly, and Simon turns to her. “You think it’s funny, huh?” Anhee’s eyes widen, and she shakes her head. Simon D lets out a growl, and all the girls on the couch shrink away.
“There is a reason,” he enunciates, face turning redder by the second, “that we put you on a diet.” Simon runs a hand through his hair, shuddering with rage. “I better not see anyone doing any of that again, understand?” He glares at the trainees, who all nod quickly. Simon lets out a huff and opens the door. “I will talk to Jay about this, and we will decide the punishments. In the meantime, you better be practicing until we come back.”
He leaves, slamming the door, and the girls timidly glance at each other. Finally, the eldest stands up. “I guess we better start practicing,” she offers half-heartedly. Some of the other girls agree, and Aerin hooks her iPod up to the speakers.
“Come on, Minhee,” Anhee says encouragingly, patting her back. “We’re dancing to Dumb Dumb, your favorite song.”
Minhee nods, forcing a smile. She high-fives the rapper and gently disengages the youngest trainee’s arms from her waist. “Let’s start, then!” she calls, earning an approving look from the main dancer.
As the song begins, however, Minhee can’t help but worry about what Simon said. Why does he think they need to lose weight? Is she really that fat? Minhee looks down at her thighs and promptly misses her cue.
“Ugh, Minhee,” one of the other trainees complains, “you can’t just do that.”
“Okay, okay.” Aerin pauses the music. “Everyone’s shaken by what Simon said. Just let it go, and we can start over.”
“Whatever.” The other trainee scoffs and turns away, leaving Minhee staring at the ground in shame. It was her fault that they had to stop practicing, her fault that everyone was mad, her fault for everything...
