YOUTH.
Description
Sometimes Seungri thought back to the days of his youth and regretted that he'd lived such a uneventful, boring youth.
Then he thought back to Jiyong laughing and turning to look at him. He thought of falling asleep on the grass beside Jiyong. He thought of opening his window and there stood his Jiyong hyung, just outside of his reach, smiling at him from the house next to his.
Then, he thought that maybe his youth wasn't so bad after all.
Foreword
When Seungri thought back to his youth, Seungri remembered those summer afternoons where ice cream melted and dripped along his fingers. He thought back to the Winter evenings where his family would huddle around a heater, peeling chestnuts and sipping hot wheat tea.
He thought back to his neighbours.
Seunghyun, who would laze around in his room reading all his manhwa. Youngbae, who would nag him about how much junk food he was eating for his age. Daesung, who would show up at the front door holding a watermelon the size of a basketball and a huge smile.
Jiyong, who would laugh beside him, burying his head into Seungri's sweaty neck.
He thought back to the days of staying up to see the sunrise, the days of picking fights with the kids from the other block, the days getting punished by all five sets of parents for lying about tuition when all of them were actually the the arcade centre, and thought that, maybe his youth wasn't so as uneventful as he'd felt like it was while living it.
After all, it did change his life.
