In the afternoon the doctor came to examine Jen. 

He said she was fine and healing ok and she wouldn’t have to stay much longer in the hospital. 

He told me she would need a little help when she got home and she shouldn’t do any physical activities.  He should have just told me straight ‘Don’t go thinking you can have crazy any time soon.’ 

Sarah spoke to Jen on the phone and was freaking out because her flight was delayed, but Jen reassured her not to worry.

Jonghyun and Key arrived after 6 and they were finally allowed to come in and see her. 

The pair of them, as usual, pretty much burst into tears as they saw her. 

She was really shocked at their level of emotion.  She had seen then weepy, whiny, angry, funny every which way and had become really close to both of them, especially Jonghyun after we lived together with him but she had never seen them so shook up and sobbing like this.

‘Stop it, I’ll have to come and hit you both and then I’ll rip a stitch and be in here longer’ she moaned at them trying to get them to lighten up. 

‘I brought you some ice cream,’ Kibum pulled out an ice box he had been hiding in his massive bag and produced several kinds of ice cream.

‘What in the hell?’ I asked him.

‘Hey, it was this or grapes, and no one likes grapes Taemin.  If you moan you won’t get one.’ He scolded me.

‘Listen to Papa Key,’ Jen winked at me.  He beamed at her through his tear stained face handing out ice creams to everyone.

They stayed about an hour before they left.  It was getting close to 8pm when I got a phone call.

‘I’ll take this outside’ I told her.

I walked outside and answered the phone.  It was my manager.

‘Hello?’ I said.

‘Taemin, I just want to let you know, they caught the girl who stabbed Jen.  It’s been in the news.  She was 16.’

‘Christ she’s a kid.’ I replied.
